Joel doesn't go on a violent rampage in the hospital. They attacked him first. He FOUGHT his way through to Ellie. And that doctor pulled a scalpel on him instead of stepping aside. Everything Joel did was to protect his and Ellie's life. There was no "violent rampage" here. In Part II, all the deaths of Abby's friends are Abby's own fault. Her revenge on Joel brought these consequences upon her. The game demonizes Ellie's thirst for revenge and ignores the fact that the whole thing began because of ABBY's thirst for revenge. Abby's friends died because Abby couldn't let it go. I hope part 3 is a flashback. The story should be about the time after Sarah's death and what experiences Joel and Tess had to go through. If they put Abby in there instead, then I ain't buying it.

Oh also, tess and Joel’s adventures began way later then after Sahara’s death, probably like 10-12 years later, if we get a prequel I’d bet it’s about Tommy and Joel living through the first years…

They didn't attack joel first. Marlene ordered the guard to escort Joel out the hospital and then Joel killed the guard then proceeded to kill everyone else. Meaning it was a violent rampage. Know the game before you argue.

When did he confirm it was in development? All neil druckmann said was that he’s found a concept for part 3 and he specifically said he doesn’t have a story yet but he does have that concept. Ive searched everywhere on the internet and found nothing confirming he has a story and or the game is in any sort of development at this time

It’s seems like that Neil Druckmann is experiencing the same kind of fatigue of creating such an incredibly detailed game that Hideo Kojima felt when creating the Metal Gear Solid games. Hideo attempted to step away from being the director and handed the reigns someone else but was held hostage by Konami until their eventual falling out. Seems like Neil is at that breaking point as well with naughty dog since they haven’t had an original IP since TLOU. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that with him.

Well they can't do The Last Of Us Part 3 without Joel, so like Part 2 they should do some flashbacks in the story but this time with Joel & Tommy. It would be interesting to see some flashbacks taking place right after Sara's death.

I think maybe he’s referring to the documentary called grounded 2 the making of the last of us part 2 where towards the end of the documentary Neil druckmann said when asked about the possibility for a part 3 “for years I haven’t been able to find that concept but recently that’s changed, I don’t have a story yet but I do have that concept so it does feel like there is another chapter to this story” he never said anything about it being in development unless they consider him thinking of a story for that concept “in development” than I would say it’s not in development at all right now and as far as we know there’s not even a story yet just a concept about what it would be about

The last of part 2 story was horrible they tried to make us like Abby after killing Joel the only thing I can get behind is the gameplay of part two the gameplay is almost like a cutscene but you are in control and killing Joel was a horrible idea and Ellie not killing Abby made no sense at all ether I still love the games but my hopes aren’t high at all for part three I really hope that it’s gonna be amazing this time part two was disappointing in the story design but definitely not in the gameplay design rip Joel
