Hey chapman. Loved the vid (mostly for the crop farm since i know how to do the others) because i haven't seen that design yet. There is however a tiny problem with the design - on the way out of the farm there is a single dry block (two blocks from the center towards the "mouth" of the farm where the trap door is) During my initial test I got 64 out of 76 planted. Now, granted - when you actually wait for the crops to grow losing that little is inconsequential especially taking into consideration the ease of use and time saved. Just wanted to let you know. I'll probably put down some ice on that block =) I really REALLY love this farm and I will probably use it again in my survival worlds. I made it and put a trap door to serve as a bridge because i prefer to get my boots dirty but other than that it's the same design.

I did try the crop farm on bedrock edition for PS4 and it didn’t work, once you try and put the trapdoor in the centre to wash your crops out to the edges, it just stays in the hole you made, and if you follow the instructions to the tee, the water just runs straight out if you put it in the centre with just a slab on one face, the trapdoors must work differently on Java to bedrock.

Instead of a "cobblestone farm" I just measure out a 25x25 square in the ground and dig it down to bedrock. Once I hit Y-5 I then expand it to a 50x50 hole and sometimes a 100x100 hole. Not only do you accumulate cobble by the tens of thousands but you also end up with hundreds if not thousands of a bunch of other materials like iron, coal, gold, lapis, diamonds and obsidian. Its also really time consuming with is really good if your bored or wanting a long term goal for your survival worlds. Edit: a small 15x15 hole alone will get you at least 20,000(ish) cobblestone.

These are listed in the Bedrock playlist, assuming they should work for Bedrock edition, but it's not seeming that way. This is all fairly recent too. What is the purpose of placing these in the Bedrock folder in your playlist if they won't work with certain aspects (one major one being water placement on/in certain items in Java versus Bedrock)? I'm genuinely curious what your feedback on fixing some of these issues on Bedrock would be, as some of these lose their spark if they can't be properly used on that version.

*GASP!* You mean people weren't thrilled that you used Advanced MAterials to build Starter farms? Such purists! I mean, doesn't every player have diamonds and quarts 11 seconds into the game without using cheats? Heck, I don't even know why they'd want STARTER farms anyway, since they obviously have resources to build high end farms.

I tried doing the crop farm on console I had to modify it with a couple hopers because the crops kept disappearing for some reason

I tried making the auto crop farm in my survival world on pocket edition and the water wouldn't stay in the trapdoor. Any suggestions.

I really hate it that I had to mine out 2304 ancient debris in order to build the "starter" wood farm...

I'd suggest putting the dirt platform higher for mega spruce trees because sometimes the leaves go lower than the platformand it may block the water or the source blocks, i don't know how, i don't know why it happens

Thanks for sharing this video with us! I love falling trees & on this game it’s so relaxing. I’m going to make a dedicated area for trees now. You’re awesome 😊☀️😎👍🏻

I’ll have to keep that cobble generator in mind for my next skyblock map. It seems like it doesn’t use many materials

So there is this stuck point on the crop farm of some items after harvesting crops at the first trapdoor, there seems to be no way around it, tried any different combinations, but at this design of a farm, there is like ~15% loss of harvest. Yet, it’s great as it is semi automatic farm. 👌🏼
