The segment that begins at 2:36:03 is my favorite. As great as the exorcism and bimbofication stuff is, for me you just can't get any better than Rod's insane fan writing in to both defend the white woman calling the cops, and also say she isn't actually white. Incredible.

@Hamun002 Жыл бұрын
I disagree. Rod is not only a fascinating character on its face, but also a dissection of an American. Every part about who he is is a construction held together by wire and tension, strung together from a young age into a self made Tower of Babel. He is a self-written character from James Joyce, but instead of gaining insight into who he is through a meandering and challenging prose, its literally the guy writing out every single subconscious fear and desire he has bundled in a simple, if verbose and unpalatable style. Its like if a parody of a conservative was a real person who was, at the same time, unable to view himself as a person. Unlike other Conservatives, even if he does all the other bullshit like "the gays are yucky", he never writes like "I am going to kill the queers". The ideology that he espouses in and of itself emasculates him in his own writing. Hes got layers all the way down. He is the whole fucking show.
