I remember this when it came out... I'm so empty today... this is like listening to a message from your ex 10,000 times...

I love listening to my ex talk about her bf. Especially when she comes over to hang, makes me feel sneaky. Her bf thinks I'm just one of her girlfriends, which I am , just not in the way he thinks.

I've always held that the Bloomberg Contingency was the darkest possibility. Then again, that would have near-certainly shattered the Democratic Party. So maybe not the darkest by far.

@@parker2793 God, that would have been amazing. Can you imagine an active CIA operative raising the corporate tax rate from 21% to 35%, making college tuition free for all but the top 20%, and introducing a government healthcare option with subsidies for lower-income Americans that anybody could choose? Wait, I’m in the wrong place. What’s chapo.chat been up to, lately?

@@Laurence2000 Raising corporate tax means nothing without closing loopholes and strong regulations. A public option and subsidies is not enough in our current climate. Please Liz, don't make Pete burner accounts so obvious next time. Nigerian prince out.

@@Justin-tr2bs @@Justin-tr2bs It must be difficult seeing conspiracy and deception all around you all the time. Raising the corporate tax even without closing loopholes (not that Buttigieg’s plan didn’t involve tightening the rules against these workarounds) absolutely does matter, given that the Ryan-McConnell tax cut resulted in the effective rate nosediving by *50* percent in 2018: www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/5/29/18642928/trump-tax-cuts-and-jobs-act-analysis It also helps to specify why a nonprofit government option that competes with the market to lower prices won’t work, instead of just vaguely alluding to the “climate” of our political era.

Now we have two parties locked into a slow moving genocide of the global south, and if we're being real the northern proles as well. These people have committed themselves to murdering the poor, and that's what the scattered US left is stuck within.

@@rosaluxemburg1670 “Bernie should of been mean to Biden , he was too damn nice” It’s wild to see Chapo political strategy at work. They think appealing to what _they_ crave would help a candidate win the Democratic primary, as if a bunch of angry Twitter Zoomers who want to kill their landlords are a significant constituency of the Democratic Party.
