@fairphone, is it possible to disable the sound effect when skipping tracks? There is a long delay and I can already hear a click from the physical button. Also, ANC and Ambient mode are super sensitive for wind noise. Will this improve?

Turn off the bluetooth mode and select fairbuds xl on your phone as exit source for the sound

You know what's even better for the environment? Wired headphones. But I guess you couldn't charge quite so much for them, hence the removal of the headphone jack so you can rip us all off and create even more lithium battery waste.

You are not wrong. But if the market is moving towards wireless anyway, surely this is the best option right?

A wired version would be great but to be honest probably nobody would buy them. You couldn´t even use them with most modern devices which are lacking headphonejacks. These are still better then headphones from competitors which you cant really repair.

They sell a cord to do usbc to aux on their website but I am unsure how to get it working

You can use the headphones without a battery. Just plug in the USB C cable and you're good to go. I personally don't like wired solutions. Those cables don't last that long.
