maybe you could give Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear a shot I initially thought of Potemkin but his strong ties on science and technology could be a problem in a fully fantasy setting

Yes to my understanding it’s a creepy pasta where a demon possessed a disc copy of an old sonic game and makes it a lot darker for a sonic game
