To studio guest Rachel, YES!!!! Such a good question! I have felt a kinship to recovering cult members here on KZbin even before I discovered my husband has all the qualities of a disturbed character. I think it is because my whole marriage had been a delusion and I’m just realizing it, like cult members being exposed to “the outside world” and realizing their cult life has been a lie! It’s mind blowing.

God has given you a great life's purpose and gift in reaching out to people to help them understand "Character Disturbance" and all that goes with it. You are able to do so in an engaging and simple format. I am currently reading your book Essentials for the Journey. After a marriage breakup with a covert narc who gaslighted manipulated etc, your work has helped me to start and continue the healing process. May God continue to bless you as you serve him.

And do we have the permission of the people we want to "lead" before we start leading them? Did we ask our partner if they would like us to "lead" them? If my partner said hey would you mind if I lead you in this relationship, or lead in the relationship, I'd say get off! We are a team thanks! What the heck! Which century are we in with this kind of mentality? The presupposition is it's the man's role to "lead". Golly gosh, I despair!

We are not animals. GOD SAYS WE ARE DIFFERENT FLESH. decades ago it was taught, we are animals. I noticed at that time, ppl started to act more like animals.
