If you are going on vacation spend the 30$ and buy an apple air tag. also if you don’t have a kill switch unplug the ignition relay in the fuse box. This is just as effective as a kill switch as the car will not start. Then you can also go old school and get a steering wheel lock. Last but not least get the neutral release cover. With all of these in place the car becomes that much harder to steal. You gotta protect your car as every second counts.

I added an AirTag. It’s only useful when people with iPhones are near it. That’s how it triangulates. If no one with an Apple device goes around it, it’ll just tell you the location and time of when someone did. Other than that, you’re in the dark

Sometimes I forget to turn my CarLock off and my bm moves the car and I get no notifications for vibration of engine started or car moved. It then sends me the notifications a minute or two later. So far it’s not that reliable.

Why wasn’t it parked in the garage or new Tazer feature locks up the brakes/wheels so the car won’t move until you put in a Pin Code in . You can turn it on and put it in drive, rev all you want but it won’t go anywhere. Pin Code is the way to go

I hate to break this to you but the Carlock is a joke. If people don’t want them stolen easily install a kill switch, pull starter fuse and relay, 2 4-packs of apple air tags to hide all over the vehicle so you can track in real time. Anything else is a waste and you’re relying on another company to track it for you and they don’t have to help you recover it at the end of the day. Also anything you buy that has to plugged in the OBD2 to help track the car is a joke it’s the first thing the thieves look for.
