I know what you mean, and I agree that there's not really a good way to determine the truth of that statement, but I think he's just not. I think that him just being him is enough, and that it doesn't take a genius to execute it. What it takes imo is a lack of inhibition. Imagine a situation where you can get to a certain goal you want by straight out lying about a scientific fact. It's not hard to imagine that most scientists would not lie about that, but many other people would. There are certain strategies that are easy, but most would consider immoral or dirty and thus wouldn't use it. Trump doesn't have that inhibition. And by that I'm not saying that he's immoral, as certain people see those tactics as immoral, but they aren't necessarily. Hillary, for instance. Even if I don't like her, I wouldn't say she's dumb, quite the contrary. But she has a certain image, and acting like Trump would just not be her. Also, she couldn't afford it, given all the dirt she has. Or imagine a great, respectable politician of the past, who could easily come up with the tactics that Trump uses. He probably still wouldn't use them, because it's just not in their character.

John Linzmayer We love him because he’s more honest than most, because he’s very smart, energetic, funny, he truly cares about America and cares about things the average person does. He has a big ego but that will play in our favor as he does his best to improve jobs and the economy for us! You are a complete fool if you don’t see his positive side, you have allowed yourself to be consumed by hate for him, what does that say about you??! The fact that the media was and is against him only makes me trust and love him more because I don’t trust the media!!!
