"whats goin on around outside your window" is honest to god one of the greatest convo pieces I've ever heard. Its fun in a casual way. But also a great topic switch that can get the other persons mind off stuff that was previously heavy, while still being genuinely charming and can move the conversation.

He genuinely wanted to know what was going on outside of his window. Bronson may not have a window to look out of or have one small one. He wanted a different view through someone else's eyes. I have a family member in prison and he asks me the same question when he phones.

I took this advice and it’s changed my life, I used to have pretty serious self esteem issues with how I looked as I kept putting on weight. I heard this quote and a few days later I began working out - now two years later I’m fitter than I could ever have imagined and more happy, fulfilled and overall living a much better existence now that I’m happy in my own skin. And it’s crazy I owe that to Charlie Bronson.

This video randomly came up for me like 3 years ago when i was living in this shit apartment, so depressed, lonely, and just fed up with life. When i saw this though, it was like something clicked in my brain and i cant even explain it. 2 weeks later i packed what i could into my car and drove to Florida where I had no job, family, money, or friends. 3 years later I have all of those things and more abundance in my life than i know what to do with. God really meets you where you are and sometimes gives you exactly what you need to hear to inspire action. Its weird i kind of forgot about this video until it came back up the kther day and it brought me back to that original moment, it feels eerie to watch it now like its connected to that old life and if i wouldnt have seen it I might still be back there..

2020 I was hiking/wild camping for 3 night in Dartmoor when i found a forest which I chose to explore. In the forest there three were areas of trees at different stages of growth from deforestation and replantation. The little trees were bushy, condensed and impossible to walk through. The medium were less bushy, lots of dying branches at the base and slightly less condensed. The tall trees where spacious, all the low branches were gone, dead, in the ground eroded, lots of fallen trees. What I realised was, to grow to your highest potential and surpass those competing with you, you have to be willing to put all your energy into your highest, most present point and be prepared to let your past die, because if you don’t, there is only so much space at the top for those that do.

In the darkest moments of our lives a light can appear from the most unlikely places or people...very often from people like Charles Bronson... With struggle and inner termoil often comes moments of true clarity and truth...a beautiful truth is when you're finally honest with yourself! When you shed the ego and the fear and the social pressures and expectances and understand.... THAT ITS ALL BULLSHIT! We've been conditioned to be manic and sad and self loathe and judgemental.... When that MASSIVE Penny Drops on you it's surreal! You realise how imprisoned you've been... A prisoner in your own mind and a prisoner of fear of people's perceptions of you...but ultimately its YOURSELF THAT HARMS YOURSELF until you learn that... You can never truly be happy and free! We are all entitled to love, be loved and know peace and happiness... I wish everyone the best finding yours... 💪🏻✌🏻💚💚💚💚
