I’m 11 weeks older than the King. At school he was always referred to us as our peer + our progress compared alongside his until grammar school. I + several of my school class were actually not fans of Charles + as an adult, particularly in his weakness to stand against his family + marry Camilla at the outset…we + l particularly, regarded him as feeble. l was an avid fan of Diana + very sad the relationship didn’t survive. Moving on, l found him still a dreary man + disappointed he broke up his family. Like many others, l was quite anti at the prospect of him as our King…However, l now eat my words, for in only his first year as King + Camilla as Queen…l believe they have done a magnificent job together + l really love their PDA + warmth but also, they actually draw people towards them. I’m sad he has Cancer, I’ve recently recovered from this myself + it really is hard to deal with. But hey, hasn’t Camilla been a beacon of strength + a fabulous ambassador too. That was a nice post. I am 6 months older than Charles and my best friend was born the same day as him. As children , we plotted how we would get Charles to meet and marry her. As a commonwealth member it seemed reasonable to us that that would be acceptable. When Diana informed the world of Charles and Camillas affair, she convincingly persuaded many to hate the two of them, including myself. I was wrong. We all make terrible mistakes but fortunately we have opportunities to be a different person through better choices. Camilla has turned out to be a decent person, and Harry quite the opposite. He has devolved into something worse than his father and Camil!a's mistake. And I have to ask, who benefits from a meeting between a King and an enemy-son, who is not the same person 20 years later. Harry has agenda to keep in contact enough with a King, to keep the titles for his family, no matter what cost it is to the King's health. Harry is for Harry and Megan and his children. Make the hard call of a King to disown him, and strip him of his titles.

I don't see Camilla letting Harry anywhere near Charles. Unlike Harry, Camilla loves Charles and will put his best interests first. It's not that Charles is "too busy," since a father always has time for their son. Lots of families have a member who has permanently made themselves or shown themselves to be hostile and destructive forces and are wisely for all permanently separated. The royal family is human after all and have the right to make a wise decision about such a one without the constant naive pressure to reconcile, forgive and forget and all the other slogans to that effect.
