I disagree. You should have your own approach to training, cardio and nutrition. His approach is sound but there are countless others who are equally as good as him or even better. Take what makes sense to you from a variety of sources and experiment.

@@varnadorel almost all old school bodybuilders have the same advice as him, their times were simple amd they had the best bodies even though modern builders are bigger, but old schools are simple you probably can have and afford to do everything they say, while new modern builders they might have their hands on stuff you don't or you cant take... Etc, so me personally i take from old school builders and very little from moderns because most use fancy stuff i might not be able to put my hands on

Yes, he is old school, and whatever worked for him in the past still works today. There is no exercise that is bad for you unless you are doing it wrong and using too much weight. He still advocates 'high risk exercises' but no one got injured by doing them.

I remember Charles Glass from way back, when he competed. Always shredded, symmetrical, no weak body parts. His videos are so helpful, as he always stresses proper form along with the correct mindset, above just lifting weights up and down. I keep telling people to eat according to their Blood Type. It has everything to do with how your body digests food, strength of stomach acids, stores fat, metabolic rate, etc. It works.

Body recomposition (losing fat while gaining muscle) is definitely possible because I’m doing it. I’ve lost 50+ lbs in 7 months while increasing all my lifts. It just requires a super dialed in diet and not overtraining since recovery is impaired by being in a caloric deficit.

@@TheRay1227 you can ask yourself this question: Is carbs nutrients or energy ? Carbs is sugar and sugar with fiber depending of which source. If you stopped eating this sort of fuel your body could still get the fuel it needs from fat and protein, look up gluconeogenesis. So no, carbs isnt a nutrient, but fat and protein are, stop eating either of those and you will set yourself up for trouble very quickly. The same is not true for carbohydrates.

As a former pro athlete, then one who turned as a pro trainer, I can say that Charles Glass is very Knowledgeable and I just hate that so many just want to steal his knowledge to make millions.......Charles, if you haven't already, get an agent, please ensure you do, so they can make sure everyone that what your time and/or info, has to pay for it.... Mr. Glass, you can makes millions doing presentations and workshops if you chose to do it...Also, those that seek your time have to pay for it just like those that seek Chris Aceto time has to pay big bucks... I tend to rest between a minute or a minute and a half between sets when I workout. I like to keep that momentum going and I can sit at home. When I’m at the gym, that tunnel-vision focus kicks in and I’m there to do work, not sit and think about life. Foh with that!
