I'm a palestinian, my grandpa born in 1909 and died in 2012 where he was born, may he RIP, he often told us stories of his family housing 2 immigrant jewish families in their own house, he was allowed to stay in the country obv as second class citizen (rights wise) and his family had around 90ish acres of land, when the occupation came (1948), they took all of it without paying, only 7 acres of that remain today in the family, the rest is part of a settlement today. 1 of the families that my grandparents' family hosted left the country to the US, they were against the israeli regime, the other one stayed but we lost contact (we don't know anything about em today), this whole situation came about and started when the intention to "take over" by the zionists came, we have no issues of em joining, not taking over tho

I am a Palestinian, my father was born in 1944, he was not given papers, he was kicked outside of his land separated from his parents because he was the provider and his parents were extremely poor and one of them was blind. He tried all his life to get back to Palestine and they never allowed him. He went to work in the Arabian gulf, then in Europe, then travelled to America as an immigrant to get the citizenship and finally be able to use the passport to return to his land. He was not able to stay there for more than 2 months at a time on a VISA, and he was not allowed to build a house there. He lived in Jordan, he never cried, but whenever Palestine was mentioned he would cry even at the age of 74. He passed away in 2019.

What always struck me the most about Palestine and the formation of Israel, is the betrayal of Biblical proportions of a people that showed them compassion. I was told by Jewish friends who I find to be pretty knowledgeable about this subject that standing against Zionism means being anti Jewish. Since Zionism is the movement for the self determination of Jews and the right for them to have a homeland. Antisemites lie and distort the meaning of the movement by saying Zionism is some supremacy movement which promotes occupation and genocide. When that’s not really what it is at all. If that was the case, then 90% of Jews on the planet (who famously do not agree on everything) would not be Zionist. So in that sense to be anti Zionist means to be antisemitic, and anti Zionism eventually leads into antisemitism and general hatred of Jews. Plus the fact that many antisemties try and hide their antisemitism by claiming that they’re anti Zionist. Which is really just the same thing.
