I don't really care for the name taking, but the movie itself could be okay, I'm gonna try to watch it in a way that it's a whole nother movie cuz it definitely is. And at least me personally, I don't want to re-watch the game, but who knows because it's not happening and technically they could add extra details for a real 1:1 Until Dawn and give us more details to certain things possibly. Otherwise idk, I just hope it won't be terribly awful lmao.

If they just keep remaking things, the video is basically already a movie in of itself, do you really think there needs to be another movie made about it in the first place? No, so here we are lmao. But some may disagree but I think the video game was just fine by itself. Now they're going to milk the name it seems, not even trying to replicate the game at all... So yeah it is pointless, like most things. But perhaps you must think, that maybe just maybe it won't be pointless. So that's why I might watch it, just as it's an original idea but I'm definitely not going into it thinking it's "Until Dawn", that's no way to watch it cuz clearly it's not "Until Dawn" it's another "Until Dawn" obviously. Just Sony taking advantage of one of their own IP's or whatever you wanna call it. If it's good then it's good though also, so I just hope that it can at least be a decent story and not some throwaway plot. I mean it looks a little different than most movies, so maybe but you never know anymore hard to say from this single trailer also.

charlie they literally do have different endings for some movies. theaters could choose what endings to show what people. idk if they do it much these days but they did that in the early 2000s

The reason why until dawn in cool is because you get to choose how the story goes and can pick who lives or dies. If they just made the movie the story of the characters going to the snowy cabin with the killer and pretty much an exact copy of the game but with no interactivity then it would be a kinda meh or an average slasher type movie this idea is at least unique and gives the movie an interesting concept from a typical slasher.

@@vins2610 the game starts out as a slasher and turns supernatural, that was the main fun twist, of course the decisions were also a large part but as Charlie and a lot of other people were saying they could pull a Clue and make different versions of the movie for different Theatres or showings, it's extra work sure but it would work while staying faithful to the source material, which this movie so far doesn't really seem to be The least they could've done is keep the tone an atmosphere of the game and make it in a snowy mountain which was also a major factor of why it was so good
