Caught him with this band at the Fillmore in S.F., several years ago. Charlie just sat in the background and drove the band. What a CLASSY and talented man. He will be GREATLY missed!

This show aired during my peak interest in big band music and I well remember watching it on TV. As soon as I was able to find a copy, I bought the LP, and it's one of my favourites to this day - still never tire of listening! Thanks for the upload of this, a wonderful trip down memory lane, and one of the most epic performances of Flying Home ever! RIP, Charlie.

Well, I've arrived here after watching the BBC film, 'My Life as a Rolling Stone', on Charlie Watts. You never know where life is going to take you next!

Dave Green, Annie Whitehead, Chris Pyne, Don Weller, Ron Matthewson, Dick Pearce, Stan Tracey, Bobby Wellins, John Stevens, Alan Skidmore, Elton Dean, Peter King, Bill Eyden, Evan Parker, Courtney Pine. That's about the best I can do at this time of night. I'm not very good on trumpet players.

Saw this band in Boston around this time when they toured the States. Played a small club best known for rock and alternative shows.

That. was Julie Dennis. The other singer bears a superficial resemblance to Gail Ann Dorsey but I don't think its her.
