this song saved my life. any other song could ever be this perfect, everything in novacane is perfect, melody, each instrument that he used to make this song sounds the most original ever, lyrics, story and the imagination he got, vocals and the way his voice sounds perfect, details, everything is perfect. i wouldn’t be able to tell you what’s my favorite part, but honestly the outro always got me, when it starts from « pretty girls involved with me making pretty love to me pretty.. », my heart is always full of love listening to this part, just enjoying the moment, when he says « now i’m something like the chemist on campus » until the next chorus, this part always got me either. i just can’t just choose what part got me the most but i love them all, i just love this song. thank you frank for realizing this f**king masterpiece.

after all of these years of listening to this masterpiece, you can base it on a lot of things. I could relate to it, and this song has helped me throughout the years. but the first verse is my fav, even though this woman is part of the night life & a pornstar just to fulfill her dreams of being a dentist, he doesn’t care he will never get the same “love” or vibes from anyone else, she was more than a drug to frank. even though he knows she is bad for him and it will never go anywhere, he loves to be around her and after all that time being with her, In the end you are left with nothing, you are left with a void in you’re chest, “Till I can’t Feel Nothin” this song is real, some girls will take you’re light inside away.

I could have this mixed up but I think what happened was early reviewers of Channel Orange (2012) started questioning his sexuality after hearing some of the lyrics, so before it's official release Frank wrote a tumblr letter talking about his first love being a man. At the time I think he insinuated he was bisexual but more recently in the song Futura Free on Blonde he had a lyric that say "You must ain't get the memo, I don't cuff bitches no more, but your bitch my exception" which to me indicates he's actually gay but idk.

This song is absolutely beautifully depressing. He’s constantly on drugs and having sex with these women, he can’t have that one woman he had in the beginning. All the other sex and women mean nothing, he uses drugs to put his mind out of the situation completely.
