You can handle the situation with soundcard and the wires on the top of your desk by moving in below the desk. Matthew Encina have a similar video of a desk tour and there is a sneak peak of how he did a little hack. He just got two metal plates on screws below the desk, inserted the soundcard in it and here you go. All the cables are below and it clears the desk visually and physically. I think it would be a beautiful solution that will help you.

if you mount the focusrite to the undeside of the desk, near the front, you can move the headphone cables to the side and cleanup some of the clutter on your desk. a second monitor can be added via another monitor arm. you might be able to keep the desk top. just a suggestion.

I really love your set up, I feel mine is clutter, but like I once heard at school, us designers always have an organized clutter, like people outside see clutter, but we know exactly where everything is, like mine it always looks with many stuff, but I know everything I have on it, and can locate it easily

I need to get on this for my work setup. being left handed I find it way more natural to use the trackpad on a MacBook.

Love the setup, Charli! Naturally there's a lot of cables! I believe this year they will be releasing an updated iMac Pro with the new Apple processors. They're pretty insane.

some of the cable managment could be helped with extenders. I have a wired headset (I want to listen to music longer than BT headsets want to stay charged) that I was having cord issues with. I bought an entension that allowed me to route the cable as I needed. made a world of difference. velcro ties are also a lifesaver.

If your headphone cable is long enough, I thread mine under my desk so it's out of the way and I prefer that to even wireless headphones since I don't have to charge them. :)

The headsets I use are the "Soundcore by Anker Life Q30" for music and phone calls on mobile and the "HyperX Cloud Flight S (Gaming Headset)" on discord calls and vijimo games. Both are wireless and both are dope. Well, to me. You may or may not like, but options. 😎
