Average homes in Portland, Oregon is $400k plus. My friend just paid 600k for 2300aqft 4br 2.5 bath. The home is 30 years old. I wanted to buy my first home, but 1000sqft is 320k. Super crazy

Hello brother, thanks for watching. The young adults in my orbit love it here. Charlotte is growing in culture and there is always something for them to do or a place to go to. The 22-26 year olds I know like to chill in southend & NoDA, but live in University area or Arysley because those areas are reasonably priced and they are around younger adults. Regardless if you're buying or renting, If you're young and dont mind it, my advice is to live with a roommate and split the expenses. Hope this helps!
