i hope that year 10 will be normal for us. I feel like we've missed so much because covid and stuff. All those lockdowns and stuff. Year 7: I missed a couple of weeks of school due to personal problems. Then year 8, obviously lockdown 1 happened and we missed basically half the school year. And year 9, there was another lockdown. school hasn't been normal for so long. All I wanted was to have a somewhat normal school year. I hope year 10 will be that normal school year.

Same also I feel like I had my flop era in Year 9 because I didn’t focus in lessons (especially science and maths) because I wasn’t used to the school environment again, and I had a mounting amount of personal problems and friend problems getting in front of my work. Shannon Terrell your weakest subjects! wait until you’re back at school and settled and if you think “wow today i struggled with this in maths...” then go home and revise that thing. just prioritise the subjects you find hardest and next year it’ll be much easier when you don’t have to like relearn it because you didn’t learn it the first time :) xx

I'm already a few weeks into year 10 and its pretty rubbish. I had chosen business, art, graphics and computing and I already regret them! Business is really confusing, art has an overwhelming amount of work, graphics is really difficult and computing is also confusing and difficult. So yes, I'll be happy with 4's in any of them.

I'm going into year 10 and I've picked quite hard subjects and I'm not really in top sets I'm in middle sets I've picked geography health and social sociology and French any advice thanks so much if you reply and any tips how to stay focuse all year and not get destructed by friend in class but still don't drift with them in class x

when you do tests in year 10, it’s good if you start making a folder for each subject and. store all your stuff for that subject- will make it sooo much easier for year 11. Also, for french, it depends if you’re good at it just based off learning in class but it’s always good to do some revision outside of class. watching videos like learn french with alexa will help conceal your knowledge.Also, i wouldn’t treat french as a regular subject as they’ve changed it now- you cant just memorise a whole page for speaking, you’ve got to be to make sentences which are correct grammatically too, hence why i treat it as if i’m learning the language. Lastly, i got distracted in year 10 too, but i still understood the syllabus- i think you start being more focused around mock times when you realise how close they are- at least that was for me. Hope this helps :)

Besties P&C you could consider revising the subjects and topics you’re weak at. Maybe look at past papers and you may stumble upon a question you find hard and build upon that. Hope this helps xx
