Thank you!! I lived in Gen 1 and 2 as a kid, but then the remakes gave me a run button. Oh... sweet sweet run button. I'm glad you love the channel name. It was a weird little "eureka!" moment when I was first starting to put the channel together.

Also, flashback to my first playthrough of Firered, where I got fed up with losing to Misty and grinded to the left of the town until I got Charizard, killing a shiny Mankey before I knew what shinies were.

When I replay Charmander allowing it to evolve :P I actually tried pushing R2 with them unevolved, and Bulbasaur with Growth/Sleep Powder was the only one that came close. R2 is nasty business! Thanks :)

@@leewalterson1243 I honestly didn't find out. I gave up long before that point after my 20 reset to Lorelei at level 100 :P It's been too long for me to remember - but these starters will be played again. Evolving this time.

The only problem with doing solo runs on fr/lg is that the elite 4 is actually pretty good. Especially 2nd time round. This makes runs with weaker pokemon tend to be a bit of a grind late game. Still enjoyable though.

You're absolutely correct! After doing the Kanto starters, I made the decision to start evolving my Pokémon, and I feel like the runs have become much more fun to play. When I'm having more fun, I find that it translates into the videos, so that's the format I've stuck with since.
