@@Wurstbrot-191 Tbh, I still feel really weird about the fact that Kinich can grapple air. I get that it's kinda necessary as it would be really limiting if he needed a climable surface for this to work, but that just adds to the strange weirdness of Natlan characters. Natlan feels like a really weird region and not the interesting weird, but strangely weird as if it doesn't really fit into the rest of the Genshin world. And I guess you can explain that with Lore, but it just feels weird and I didn't have this feeling, not even with all the stuff we got in Fontaine.

It's a shame that the bullet charge slower when moving because it feels worse just floating there stationary to maximise DPS. When I use her skill I instinctively want to fly around circle strafing the enemy.

The exploration is even better when you factor in xilonen since she has a passive talents that restore 15 points when you switch between natlan characters with kenich as well you can almost achieve an almost perma flight team xd

So something I’m noticing is that all the Natlan characters are balanced around being in Natlan, and either traveler should give them an item that lets them retain nightsoul outside natlan, or a possible third spiral abyss-styled mode/event will be released after the whole story has concluded that makes full use of the nightsoul.

@@deezgod45 Because the ancient technology that Natlan uses is all from the ancient draconic race that you see... you know, during the attack on the Night Kingdom in the first patch. Most of the tech being used here isn't replicable elsewhere, and those who would even have the knowledge to do so have to follow codes of ethics which aren't easily manipulated. Adepti can make things like this fairly easily like Xianyun because they are from ancient history. Deshret glyphs and sentries are made from ancient tech that was deemed immoral and unethical because of their permanent stain on natural life, and were thus made forbidden by the Akademiya. Fontaine literally destroyed half of itself trying to experiment with water displacement and gravitational sciences. The only nation that actually has any semblance of appropriate use of ancient tech is Natlan because they learned to grow alongside vishaps/saurians/dragons because of the necessity to stop the flood of the abyss at the locus of its power in Teyvat.

Depending on your artifact luck, Slingshot is a pretty valid option given that the Charge Shots are hitscan. You'll most likely want to run Wanderer's or Shimenawa instead to avoid overcapping your Crit.

Furina and Benet are her best teammates I use sub dps Ganyu with full emblem set to fucus on her burst and cryo application to freeze enemies and I am able to get melt reaction with Chasca one time for every fully charged shot my build isn't complete yet with trash artifact and lvl 70 not ascended with only lvl 6 skill talent I got 40k for each shell and 90k with melt reaction and I think it is pretty decent dmg since there is room for improvement and I got her wepon as well at lvl 80 currently. I really recommend you to try Ganyu with her fucusing in her burst dmg since she is not much used recently as charged atk dps she can be sub dps for Chasca

@@jonathanrobinson198 Feels more like people interprete the typical criticism of "charged attack boring" to be extra critical in Chasca's case, when it isn't. Ganyu, Neuvillette and Lyney were always criticised for being boring to play. Ganyu and Neuvillette however had the main advantage that they were pretty much the most powerful units when they were released, so people played them despite disliking the playstyle more. Chasca isn't that powerful. Which isn't bad for the game, but which means that players won't be ignoring this flaw. And then there is Tighnari. He was just on a different level, because for one, he was the first ever Dendro 5* character, so of course the reception would be different. But even without that, he takes way less field time than all the other characters mentioned.

Writing up the chain of application there should be a vape 2/3rds of the time; with Furina and Ororon the enemy is gonna have an electro charged aura on them already on the first bullet, so with PEH/PHE/HEP/EHP you get a vape, and with HPE/EPH you just get another tick of EC, so the question is how much is EM worth for her then. Also now I'm wondering if it's worth going double pyro, 2 pyro (or hydro maybe somehow without furina) means you should always get a vape (PPH/PHP/PPH/PHP/HPP/HPP) if you make sure the minority element has full priority meaning your majority element application is easily controlled (like a C4 yanfei with TToDS and the hero set).

Now ? With Chaska things are weird ! Xilonen dps is the rarest team possible now 😂 , you thought about chaska , xilonen , kinich and a pyro ? Probably one of the best "first characters" one can get. Just put 3 other characters of hydro, pyro, cryo and electro in her team and fly around exploring to your hearts content, can even skip straight to natlan to get her materials.

Frankly i hate many of the Natlan characters. While i do believe that they are creatively written and well designed, they just don't fit into Natlan for me. Natlan is nation of war and war is a serious topic, especially when they are at never-ending war with abyss for 500 years. So why in this serious story we have probably the most unserious characters? Mualani using a balloon shark as a weapon and throwing some water balloons with her normal attacks, Kinich with his pixelated grapple/cannon, Xilonen with Roller Skates and now Chasca with flying revolver. When we dealt with war in Inazuma most cast felt fitting to the story we were getting. Yet in theoretically more serious story, we're getting some of the least serious characters gameplay wise.

Chasca is bait and even Hoyo knows that, thats why they delayed yesterdays drip marketing and only the day after Chasca was released did we get Citlali and Mavuika gameplay. They know noone would pull for Chasca if they saw whats coming.

It's just wild to me how incredibly boring she is in combat, lol. She is like Neuvillette in single target scenarios. All the time. With Neuv in AoE I can at least align the enemies a bit before blasting but Chasca is straight up hold trigger, pray for enemies to die faster than they can target you. The design is just lacking..ambition I guess? Edit: Lmao at all the cope in the comments. I just said that you don't do a lot with her in combat, which is true, you hold one button down with no care for rotations or any way to improve her DPS. And people getting so angry at me know it's true. Imagine what some of you would do if I said she was effing shjte, haha.
