0:24 I have two theories for why Mavuika didn't get drip marketed. 1. The drip marketing could have spoiled the story. That happened with Furina, iirc. 2. They opted to not promote the new archon a patch early unlike usual so she doesn't kill the revenue of the next patch's banners. That's been a thing that's happened ever since Ei's debut banner back in 2021 where Yoimiya's banner pretty much cratered. (In fact, Yoimiya became a meme due to consistently having horribly timed banners with much more popular and/or meta characters.) Perhaps they think that not drip marketing Mavuika will help Chasca's banner do better. Though that doesn't explain why they also didn't drip market Citlali.

I guess Mavuika, Xilonen, Bennett and Citlali would be a good team as well. I'm planning to pull C2R1 Mavuika and C1R1 Citlali . Yes staying in Benny's circle will be hard but someone on Twitter said that the attack buff stays for a couple of seconds when you move out of the circle. So if you can, move back to the circle every couple of seconds to keep the attack buff

she would perform just fine as an offield, sure her damage would be way lower compared to xiangling, but you also need to remember that her skill doesn't cost any energy and would have 100% uptime, i think people are over exaggerating her being just a generic pyro DPS, she would be a better xiangling in any team that wants offield pyro dps that doesn't use benet as for her flexibility as a main DPS, that is a very fair argument, she's basically raiden if raiden can only get her ult buff (chakra desiderata or the circle that charging behind her) if she only play with inazuma character instead of charging it depending on how much the teams burst cost

Did you just completely misinterpret what she does? Childe international is team utilizing Xiangling's ability to do OFF-FIELD damage. Mavuika does very little off field damage and not nearly enough pyro application so Childe can carry.

She as a dps isn't really that limited due to kachina existing, sucrose xinqiu and kachina is a damn good comp for her. Run full em kachina with xinqiu as your sustain and ttds on sucrose. (150-170 stacks is the average for these teams, if you have citlali you could replace xinqiu and kachina could be replaced by xilonen along with kazuha and sucrose) As a support if any team wants damage bonus she will be good 65% on non natlan team and 85% on natlan teams. pyro app, interruption res, good damage and no er requirement. Bruh, shes fine for non natlan characters. As a support without natlan chars she will give about 25% from passive with natlan artifact set that's 65% dmg bonus + offeild damage and pyro ap. This is comparable buffing to furina with a bit less personnal damage although still strong. Not only that but she can be a dps with extremely good numbers and damage, while being insane at exploration. Adding on if you get cons muavika is even better and her weapon is both versatile and amazing for her. TLDR: 65% damage bonus without natlan chars pyro app decent damage interruption res 85% dmg bonus pyro app decent damage. Pyro dps Insane cons Great multiplers. If anybody tells you she is a bad character they are lying, she is comparable in support to furina while being a very strong dps. Deyha applies pyro every 2.5s while amuavika does is every 2s without ICD. She also follows the character and has better AOE.

I've been playing other games and when I go back to Genshin, traversing the open world is annoyingly slow. Nowadays I just log in to do Abyss. Everything else seems like a chore to do. I've never been this unexcited for an archon before, all Natland characters are not what i was expecting on every aspect, design was lame for most but when it's not a design problem it is a kit/gimmick problem like kinich to me, i feel so disappointed up to now, Mavuika has a good design and character, but the only thing i dislike is the motorcycle animation, and i hope it won't make her clunky during combat like Moulani. Same here. All the lore about natlan being a war-torn nation with tribal people had me excited for it. I thought we were getting badass characters and designs. Instead, we got a weird avant garde nation with every character looking like a parody/joke. A boy with an annoying pixel dragon(kinich), a goofy girl that throws fat blow up fish(mualani), a lazy dj cat girl that roller blades(xilonen), a cowgirl that literally rides a giant revolver(chasca), and now, a biker chick riding a motorcycle..... the only character that looks cool is Capitano, and he might not be playable 😂😂😂

i think it was long expected that she will power creep Bennet but I am mostly still recovering from Chasca having that giant revolver as a weapon and now they bring out whole ass motorcycle like from where? In Fontaine they at least had the Research Institute and clockworks which explained the guns etc, but with Natlan they just throw it out there no explanation lore and background be dammed. Yes there was some kind of technology in Children of Echoes where they use special stone as power source (Xilonen roller blades are powered by those as example) but with regards to their whole culture, which is even more centered about more primal like clans who even compete and clash with each other, there is just no motive for such high advanced machinery (guns, vehicles)

If I remember correctly, there's an advanced dragon civilization before Natlan. That's why the phlohiston (idk the spelling) exists, and it's technically the fuel, but it doesn't last as long outside of Natlan. Also, I think cloud retainer has some sort of idea or blueprint for a bicycle, which is mentioned in a story quest somewhere

As of now, my rough calculation, it's a 30%-40% personal final damage increase for Mualani, which is more than C1 Mualani, basically massive. The only potential problem is whether or not, her pyro persist after the surfing ends. If it does, then the second rotation set up for cinder artifact might be annoying. Also, whether or not her pyro application is fast enough for multi target, since Mualani in multi target can attack faster therefore needs faster pyro as well.

Utterly disappointed. All 5* pyro are main dps. We have no pyro shielder, no application to remplace Xiangling, no boost healer to substitute Bennett. 5 years later Bennett is the only pyro healer. This kit is a fail, simply because most of players doesn't need a pyro dps again. Neuvillette is better and comes before. Arlecchino comes right after and will be better than Maviuka. Based on ratio right now damage is lower than HuTao and even with Yoimiya. Her pyro application is low, once every 2 sec. With huge lack of imagination everybody will think about Raiden but Raiden application is better. Atm this is a huge waste and skip

We actually do have a very good Pyro shielder- Thoma. I always use him in the abyss and I always get 36 stars. I use him with my C1 Arlecchino or C1 Wanderer. With normal attacks and a decent build you can actually maintain more than 100% uptime on his shields

I think part of Mavuika’s kit is given to the pyro traveler (maybe to be aligned with the lore ? ). Probably Mavuika + pyro traveler is similiar to Bennett + Xiangling ? Maybe pulling for Mavuika’s weapon (crit stick) can remedy this.

Using her with kinich is waste of potential she is more of a dps than support. Her whole kit revolves around buffing her own damage not support ... U cannot swap back to mauvika after doing rotation with kinich because of 15 sec cooldown ...

I wish Mavuika had more supporting buff capabilities. Like a Bennet buff that isn't locked to one area or something I was hoping she would have more buffs but I didn't expect her to have dmg bonus like what we already have which is furina. So far I'm im happy with her numbers and I love her animations. I just really feel like she could have been different than another dmg bonus buff
