Fantastic video! I must re-listen to this and take notes. The last thing Chase said that he heard from Ross: "It's not what people say they want, It's what people respond to." There is a phrase that many Realtors or Real Estate Sales people use that is very similar ... "Buyers are Liars". This is not meant in a disparaging way. It is just reminding you that people make decisions with emotions first, and they rationalize their decision with logic afterward. Most people who have sold "big ticket" items, as in houses or cars/trucks ... especially to average citizens where money is definitely an issue ... know this is true. The Buyer will tell you what they want, what price range, etc. ... but the experienced salesperson knows to look at their emotional reaction first. For example, if it's a house, and they "fall in love" with it, not all, but most people will go above their price range and then rationalize it afterwards with stuff like [It's such a great investment, it needs no work, I'll probably be making more money next year anyway, with an adjustable rate mortgage, we can swing it ...]. And when they "fall in love" with a house, it often looks like a romantic love movie! They're flushed, excited, breathless ... Another way "Buyers Are Liars" is they will SAY things like "We're looking for a fixer upper ... to save money". Then you show them a house that is almost a gem, but one or two rooms need a coat of paint, and suddenly they're disgusted. What?? Paint?? We didn't mean THAT much work. So while they SAY they want a fixer ... what they actually respond to are only the prefect gems. And they will often go over their price range to get it. So on this most very simple level of buying a house, that principle certainly holds true.

I suffer from depression; when speaking to authorities in a case of finding 'weed' on me; the AG wanted to paint me as a drug dealer. It failed because i just drowned myself into a depressive mood... The judge gave me a change, which later on helped me getting rid of the addiction..

I walked into a store years ago with cash to make a sizable purchase. I purposefully didn't dress up and put on make up. I wanted to see what kind of service I would get. One major store didn't bother to ask if I needed help, one just simply told me no, they didn't have what I wanted and the 3rd store asked how they could help. So sometimes clerks are making assumptions.

This is a brilliant podcast guys, loving the lifestyle hacks, imprinting your mammalian brain, vision boards and being my own butler. Source seeking validation: Significance, acceptance, approval, intelligence, pity, 'strength & power' = an aha moment. Thank you Howard marks book of dope stories - implies that television is also like drug, in the sense that it alters the chemicals in our body and influence our feelings, aka watching a sporting event, news or advertisement.
