With how great both teams are, it’s hard to tell who would win in that matchup. I love team Apex ETH to death, but maaaan. Orlando and his team are just insane. With how fluid, quick, agile, and smart they are on the quad, they’re definitely a top 5 team for me. Maybe even a top 3. It all depends on how the rest of the teams outside the UK have improved since we’ve last seen them perform in WCT. Like United and Blacklist

Team phat was my prediction to win from the start. They have all the atheleticism they need and have and their best player Orlando is an OG of WCT. Luke Stones doesn't get enough praise, his speed and explosive chasing style makes him a nearly unstoppable chaser. He is the second best Athelete to come out of the back yard fight club. Abdullah shined too by getting an invasion and impressive tags on the strongest chases. I predict team phat are gonna go far in the world championships

Congratulations to Team Phat. An insane performance by them. They just beat one of the best teams in the world and made it look easy. Not Richard's greatest performance if I have to be honest, same can be said about Andy. I feel like UGen underused Dayne. During the tournament I thought they just never needed him because of how convincingly they were beating everyone, but in the final he still only got two chases and in the one where he was evading he almost got the point too. Great tournament, congrats to Phat for winning. Now I can't wait for the world championship.

Yeah, I mean what can you do if someone jumps right into you? However, I think it's probably better to give too many yellow cards than to few. This way people will try their best to keep away from maneuvers that may win you the game but may greatly injure the other player.

I also think the mid-air tag wouldn't have to have happened if Luke hadn't reacted to Richard's incoming tag by trying to leap over it (which I think Luke tried to do in response to it, which I don't blame him for it, because people would've probably reacted the same way based on their instinct). Had Luke not tried to jump and decided to land immediately, then the tag wouldn't probably have to happen mid-air, but I think the tag would've still happened. I just think that was still a great tag nonetheless, and I hope both players still maintain a good sportsmanship over what has transpired.

@@movingartillery5718 Thats exactly what I am getting at. It was exploited in this situation, although he probably did not actively chose to do so. He jumped as a reaction to the chaser cutting him off, not because he had something to jump to. And if you look at the face of the chaser and the way he pulls his arm back once he realizes that he touched the other guy in midair shows that he didnt have bad intentions and was surprised by the jump. But the commentatot calls it "the definition of an aggressive tag" and he gets a yellow card.

Orlando could evade Haroon! In the first encounter, Orlando was already tired because of it being his third round but in the second encounter, I don't know what happened. "No one evades Haroon" is blown way out of proportion. It's just the pressure of doing so that makes people fail at it I guess

That yellow card in chase 5 was ridiculous. Luke was already flying through the air in an awkward position, and the tag on him was about as light as you can get.

If you look at who wins (regardless of who is chaser/tagger) it's who makes the other player respond to them. Team Phat was getting all of those sub-10 second tags because they came up to the tilted cube and would make a fake and the UGen guy would respond to the fake. Successful evasions come when the chaser has to respond to you i.e. you either make a fake or an instant run as soon as they arrive at the obstacle (tilted cube, loading bay etc.). Mark Bowles was amazing at this, he knew when to take off, when to fake, and when and where to sit. As much as I love the creative parkour lines some people take, the optimal strategy seems to be to go corner to corner, at least 90% of the time. Also: why was Haroon not first chaser in the match, dude's a fucking legend. Never evaded, arms like an animal known for having long arms.
