When you use midjourney alot u peep the small things like the eyes being messed up lol. I wish they would fix that including the hands haha! It's a great stuff. And the way you handle it is brilliant! I tried to follow your guide, but ChatGPT breaks for me at the third step. When I ask for the outline, it repeats the template with different story parameters. Is the "outline" defined somewhere earlier? I wonder what am I missing...

Wow, this is pretty much a good background summary for an actual story. The AI is such a great tool for ideas like this. I just hope artists and storytellers wont limit themselves to what the AI generates, using it as a final product. It would be damaging to the unique creativity in us all which can go much deeper.

Oh, btw, been trying to come with a method to generate long-form content. Made a few test runs so far and it works really good. It involves splitting the writing process into 3000 character chunks - and then I simply tell it to give me a summary of what it has written and where we are in the plot line, like, after the story chunk it just came up with. Then this serves as additional input for the following prompt

Give this to professional full time writers and ... We'll be drowning in quality sci-fi content. Not that there was great lack of it but this will up the bar a lot. I'm beginning to fear we'll get spoiled by this. edit: I'm being serious here - remember when growing up how awesome it felt getting that icecrea or chocolate bar (or hell, getting laid) once per week/month/etc.?
