For everyone making fun of her accent/her usage of words such as “like” and “yeah”, pleases understand that non-English speakers living in their own countries do not and will never be obligated to learn it and/or appeal to your standards of how it should be spoken. Thank you.

In California many people say like! it’s not a problem lol sometimes you just need a filler so that you don’t overwhelm people with too much information at once. East coasters like to talk faster so they don’t see the use for ‘like’. But in California, you can speak fast or slow, or with accents no one cares. I use ‘like’ a lot too and I defend it when people say something about it.

I actually like what you saying sister but you couldn't be more wrong, respect other nationalities? Really? Have you not seen your the lady who is the representative of the foreign ministry , her speech about the Egyptians as well as your media that portrayed the Sudanes people in a disgusting way I can go on and on but yeah Hope you don't take it personally

Laila.ismael Your comment sounds like you’re trying to convince people that we’re “White-Washed” and are trying to be western in order to prove to the world, and that’s a bad thing to do. You can still wear a burka or a hijab and be open minded, clothes doesn’t define your Intelligence nor the way you think. I think It’s important to hold into traditions aswell since that’s what makes countries unique and Kuwait is unique in that particular thing and so is the rest of the Arabic World.

Well i’m saudi and yes kuwait is the most open minded in the gulf because they are Ethnically diverse their origins from 3 main countries saudi , iraq and iran, but the young saudis are becoming more open and the western part of saudi (hijaz) jeddah for example Are really open like kuwait

I don't know what you mean by "open minded", we're pretty conservative and Kuwait is no exception.

I'm Kuwaiti, and I disagree with what you said about Kuwait being "the most open-minded in the Gulf" because I think it's the UAE. Although we let go of some of our ridiculous traditions, we are still pretty conservative.

Lovely to see your videos. Long time , before the invasion, me and my family used to live there (Salmiya ) we had a great time. It became our home. My father, being originally from Europe, fully adaptet to the culture. He even learned some Arabic writing and reading. Days before the invation we went abroad on hollyday, he had planned to stay a few days more and then join us. So he experienced the hole deal. We will never forget how people did hide him from the Iraqi troops, risking there own lives. He was in his late 50's. Finally after two months he and other foreigners did come out, by diplomatic interfierance. He died 16 years ago, never being able to go back. We lost all of our little business. But I know what missed most, was the lovely people of Kuwait. Out of sight but not out of mind🙌
