Half the books I have read this year have been under 300 pages. It has been fantastic. My wife has celiac and she hates telling people about her dietary restrictions. She feels like people assume she is faking it. On the topic of becoming competent and then not going any further: I feel that. That explains my experience with basically every hobby. I have accepted jumping from hobby to hobby(as you said this is at the three hour mark so we can get a little dark). Aren't we all just amusing ourselves so we don't dwell on our mortality? And now Allen is disparaging the French, talking about his job being meaningless, and the problems with the "ruling class". So I guess my comment on avoiding thoughts about mortality is par for the course 😅. Anyone else see the irony in Allen talking about momentum in war like he is Dalinar Kholin or something then he immediately starts ranting about Sanderson. I love it 😂. Cryptic Command and Snapcaster are the 🐐. Even when I'm burnt out on playing Magic I can always fall back on mono blue which brings me as much joy as it brings my opponents frustration. This episode as great!
