Today I respond to a request from a YT sub for a video where I discuss my preference for the Reformer footbar to be unpadded - naked!

I would like to hear more about the benefit to the feet and the rest of the body when using the naked foot bar for foot work.

Sure - would you like a Part 2 for this video? Do you have specific questions you would like me to address? The Feet can get more direct stimulation from the naked footbar which can act like an acupressure for the feet - but also the lack of padding on the bar can let you know if you are putting undue effort in strain on your feet that could be problematic over time. The naked footbar encourages the whole body to work to support the feet, which IMO is important for longevity and a strong foundation in life.
