Vacuum leaks are no fun whatsoever, especially when they detract from your cars performance. This video was a combination of preventative maintenance and some playing around in this cars first snow. I think replacing any hoses made of this material is a surefire way to improve the reliability of your VW/Audi.

I would recommend to make a N249 delete, where mine had several vacuum leaks, and take.the vacuum line from the intake manifold directly to the diverter valve, it comes much easier in boost. Also when you install a new pcv system then also install a catch can.

This is a fantastic idea! I'll do the n249 delete as soon as the rest of my hoses come in. I'm also planning on the catch can at some point as well! Thanks for the support and ideas!

Great, you are welcome. Remember to leave the plug in on the N249 or get a resister otherwise the Engine light comes on👍

Can you tell me what the sensor is called that’s mounted to the bracket ?

Have you cleaned your MAF sensor? It will effect your idle as well.

I will add cleaning it to my next video as well! I had just put in a new one in within the last 6 months so I didn't think to check that :) Thanks for the advice and the support!

Mine broke and bits fell into sump giving me an even bigger job to do, drop the sump. Keep up the good work.
