Keeping the brakes clean and running Lyndall Gold racing pads has made my 04 sporty brakes work incredibly awesome for the past seventeen years. Every Spring I pull the calipers off and thoroughly clean everything and flush/refill the brake fluid. Every couple of years I also change those little rubber boots and bushings. No brake mods needed.

I'm running that Caliper with the original master cyl and it works fine. No need to change the master cyl.

Been looking for the xr1200 caliper but they are long gone. May have to go this route. Can you explain if you need an adaptor or custom washer to make this work?😊

Dude, I am upgrading my brakes now. I used 2 small spacers (washers) to space/center my caliper and you are right when I put my Tokico 4 piston on the bike my stock 2018 Master for the 4 piston front caliper wasn't nearly enough to make it work so I ordered a brand new xr1200 master cylinder which will be arriving this week. I went from the 11.8 rotor to an 11.5 10 button brembo floating rotor with black center carriers for the front and an 11.5 matching for the rear. Front has a speed merchant bracket to fit the radial caliper, and the rear has a bracket made by Jacob Conard to fit the older style 11.5 inch rear rotor in place of the new 10.2 rotor. I put a new braided black brake line on the front since the stock braided line wasn't long enough with my bars. Let me know how your mission goes!

Jacob makes some cool stuff! On his IG it looks like he is planing to run dual HD Brembos on his sporty. I was considering the Tokico until I scored this Brembo. Im going to see how this stock master works but may have to swap it. For the rotor, I got a deal on a second hand HD floating 11.8. Planning on cleaning it up and painting the center black. One day I'd like to have the Galfer wave floating rotors.

@@twinsmotogarage1866 my guess is you will need a different master for sure. My stock master couldn't even close the pistons on the Tokico hahaha. I have Brembo pads in my Tokico, and brembo rotor. Give me a follow on instagram if you would like @trucker_mac Yesterday I installed my barnett clutch and gloss black HD primary cover and DAMNNNN it looks good! I loved my stock 11.8 floating rotor but to me it was worth losing .3 of an inch to get the anodized black center and the extra 5 buttons to hold it together. My rear matching rotor will be here this week, and my XR master will be here between now and Wednesday. I am going to have the Tokico caliper, brembo pads and XR master mounted on the Brembo rotor this week. I am ordering a chain conversion from TMF cycles and at the end of August I will install the matching rear rotor/bracket from Jacob and my chain conversion. Then it is on to suspension. Oh, and my carbon fiber fennders and side panels are 75% done too, and my matching gloss black chopped cam cover is waiting for me to pick it up at the dealership. I think I have a problem......😂😂🚴🚵 PLEASE let me know how the touring Brembos work! I have a buddy that slapped them on his Dyna and he absolutely loves them!

Yeah that’s a solid option! I got this Brembo for 25 bucks and couldn’t pass. The single Brembo is working fine with my stock master cylinder. I’ll post an update soon!

No, bagger rear brembos are for the right side of swing arm and sportsters have the caliper on the left side.

Google Ronnie’s parts finder. Enter the year and model for the roadster. Find the diagram that has the caliper then get the part number and put that into eBay.

U should of just got a new xr1200 front caliper looks much better and its sportster specifically 😎 save urself the extra hassle i did it to my sporty

What up brother ? I bought a brand new XR front caliper for my 2016 iron with the hammer 1275 big bore kit . We’re you able to use your stock front master cylinder and and stock front rotor with the XR front caliper? I haven’t installed mine yet because I’m not sure if I need to upgrade my master cylinder as well?? Hope you can shoot me a reply . Thanks man be safe
