I have the xiaomi Pro 2 for 1.5 years and I have done 2000km+ in total. I have modded it to go 35km max speed and it has been a life saver inside the town I use it to go almost anywhere. It costed me then 420 and something euros It has made its money back and more So you don't have to spend a fortune for an escooter to be satisfied. I want to upgrade to a kaboo mantis 10 Pro that in my country costs 2100 euros and I cant wait to order it. But I will keep the xiaomi one because it has never disappointed me :) Edit: I have drove it in snow mud light rain heavy rain, 40+ degrees in the summer and it works flawlessly. Best scooter at 400 euros period

I can agree with that. Yesterday I just sold my Xiaomi Mi Pro 2 wich I bought back in 2021. I used that scooter for almost all environments (even some light offroad) and besides the solid tyres upgrade (I got a flat tyre in about a week), it has never dissapointed me in exactly 3011 km. I’m looking to upgrade to a Zero 9 due to it’s serviceability and suspension system. Either way, Xiaomi impressed me with the quality of a 400€ scooter. I’ve kept in touch with the new owner as I’m very curious how long it will last before a main repair.

So, I got the kaabo skywalker 8s last week. I bought it for $610 brand new lol. I think their regular price is $1400. I am not sure if it goes to cheap or expensive scooter. I can say on uphill, it move my 175 lbs behind lol. It's fast and scary going close to 30 mph! I am not sure how someone can go 50 mph and not get scared. I know I want the kaabo wolf king, but I'll enjoy this one first and slowly move to that.

My first scooter Ninebot ES4, steering literally fell apart (warranty replaced entire scooter), second unit battery failed on initial ride (warranty replaced entire scooter) third time lucky... did 11,000kms on it over 2 years commuting, 5 sets of front suspension, 6 rear mudguards/brake units, 8 sets tires, 1 new rear shock, 2 sets wheel bearings, I hammered that thing to hell, I'm slightly over the recommended weight limit too. Rode in all conditions, heavy rain, cold, searing heat, and 3 minor crashes in the wet all related to debris on the road, (STILL ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET). - The scooter did me proud, but it was horrible. Second scooter Dualtron Victor :-), 7000kms on it has the usual stem creak noise, thats it, nothing else ever gone wrong, I've not had the flat tire issue many reported, and ive done massive rides on this thing, top speed runs everywhere, the build quality is excellent by comparison, the R&D on Dualtron is obviously exceptional along with quality control and testing. The main difference, in my opinion, between cheap and expensive scooters as this realistically translates to acceleration/range/top speed, is the operators ability to control them and likelihood of injuries, especially where operators lack experience on 2 wheels. Low end scooters rarely exceed speeds that are deemed dangerous, things dont come up on you so quickly at lower speeds, if things go pear shaped you can usualy stop and/or jump off and take a few steps avoiding anything serious. Most countries have a rule of either 300-350w power limit, or 25-32kmh speed limit (see all eBikes) as these usually limit the speed of an impact dramatically increasing survivability. I know these rules are not present in some countries, but just look at the statistics relating to their injuries 😲. Many scooter shops I visited for test rides had no issue giving me a demo scooter of very high spec (and set to max) when I turned up on a large Motorcycle in full riding gear, this wasnt the case if I walked in or arrived by car, they assumed 'retard' and took a lot of time setting the scooter up in granny mode and supervising my initial demo ride in a car park. An expensive high output scooter can get out of shape very easily due to many factors, though most incidents start because of road/pavement surface changes, obstructions, or debris etc. The speed you are travelling at, and protective riding gear being worn, then determine the resulting injuries in most cases. Motorcross riders crash faster, more often, and much heavier that mtb riders but the protective gear being worn results in far less injuries, bicycle riders have a lot to learn and few formal training channels to learn from. Experience on a motorcyle does pay huge dividends as you are experienced at reading the surface constantly, something car drivers are not trained for and seldom pay attention to, cars balance themselves due to 4 wheels. My local shop has had 3x Dualtron Victors back as part of insurance claims for road traffic accidents , each of these factored an inexperienced operator being allowed to "go for a spin on it" and resulted in life changing injuries and lots of damage, none of the others have ever come back for a warranty claim, nothing more than a puncture repair. Just as RK9 mentioned the high end scooters have fewer reliability issues, and have a longer lifespan, though the most important difference (in my opinion) is the skill required to safely operate these high end scooters. Just my opinion, love your contribution here RK9, you helped me decide to get a Victor :-). stay safe mate.

so, would you say, a good compromise which new / zero-experience riders (like me) can make is: go ahead and buy that high end scooter, but avoid temptation and **keep it** in granny mode, at least until a few months or a year of riding is under the belt? are there other aspects of higher-powered scoots operations which require higher skill i'm not aware of, besides driving them at higher-speeds?

@@RexGanymede Reading the surface is likely the most important factor, a couple misplaced pieces of gravel (on a corner) can literally end in disaster, so reading the surface is the first thing to really take the time to do and all the time. Reading the surface is something you learn as a motorcyclist and it becomes second nature making you safer in a car as well. Take your time ramping up the power and ensure you always wear full body protection, armoured jacket, helmet, motorcycle gloves, knee pads if possible. There is some really good mountainbiking gear out there too and it fits under baggy clothing, it take take a hell of a beating too. Maybe get fully kitted out and wear it religiously for every ride, then when it does inevitable go pear shaped you are likely to significantly reduce injury. Be safe mate.

The way i see it, a scooter like Kqi3 Pro is ideal for everyday commute and for people who want a higher quality entry-level scooter(not some cheap Xiaomi scooters) that will probably last longer as well. Most of the times if you check your tire pressure often the less the risk of you having a flat, that applies to entry-level scooters and high end. People who want serious power and acceleration a scooter like Kqi3 is not ideal but for everyday people who use it for 5-6 or maybe more than 15 klm per day a scooter like this is perfect. My personal opinion!

I just rode my first e-Scooter a few weeks ago (a Bird One), and was instantly hooked. I sometimes use one of the Bird rentals to commute home when I'm not feeling like walking 3 miles, and have been on the hunt for an e-scooter I can use to get to work and run around town. This Dualtron has been on my radar since I started looking. I don't really need to go that fast, but I'm a heavy dude, and a lot of the lighter weight, less expensive scooters aren't built to handle my bulk. These videos have been incredibly useful for me in my hunt for my first electric commuter vehicle, and if it happens to be a ton of fun to ride, all the better.

I got a Dualtron this summer as my first e-scooter. Got it for 2k it’s a model down or two form the Victor. It’s pretty cool tho the max speed is 37 but I regularly mob around 20-30mph. I had to do some repairs after getting over 1000 miles on it but it’s been pretty easy to reinforce the areas needed.

@@larryc1616 For me it was the hills. It didn't have enough power to climb. The scooter also cuts its speed by half when the battery goes below 50%. I would go to work with a fully charged battery and it'll be almost 50% battery when I get arrive. So I would have to ride home with half the speed lost from battery drainage.

I have a Gotrax G4 and a Yume S10. The Gotrax G4 I use for small commutes around my area. It’s perfect for that. The Yume S10 I use to go to work and back, which is about a 4.4 mile round trip. I can go back and fourth at least a few times on a charge, it’s great.

I had the classic Xiaomi M365 back in the day, 1600km being used, changed the tires after flat tire to solid wheels to avoid anymore flats, then the fuse failed, not gonna lie, the scooter took a beating during its usage, it behaved pretty well. Today I'm waiting for the Kqi3 Pro to arrive at my house, let's see how big of an upgrade it is, I chose it over the Xiaomis they have today due to larger wheels, better range, more robust chassis and increased power for some hills so it doesn't slow down too much. I plan on owning it for as long as possible.

The hills that back then I was climbing at 10km/h, now this one can climb them at 20km/h, range is 37-41km (always on sports mode, and with hills aswell), haven't test the range on eco yet. It's quite comfortable the ride despite its tubeless tyres but not as smooth as wheels with air chamber. Every tiny rock you run over, it will get twitchy. And if it's hot outside and you're running on sports mode with 10% battery or less... It will show ERROR 41 which means overheating battery, it always happens at low battery, but if you use eco mode,the error won't show, so if you run low (or the screen only shows 1 of 5 bars of battery), eco mode is the way. Electric brake is strong even in the middle setting, but it's kinda tricky to use it with the mechanic brakes, sometimes it slows down really fast, others doesn't enable the eABS and it only brakes with the discs. Nonetheless if you DO mean you wanna brake, it will always brake, and faster than a Xiaomi. Lights aren't the best but if it's really dark outside (like in a village, not the city) the front light is more than enough. All in all I feel safer in this one since it's bigger, like I feel the traffic sees me better with this one, they're having a second thought running over me than on a Xiaomi 😂

I got a super cheap scooter on Amazon. The gyrocopter Flash 3.0. It was on sale, with tax cost 450 CAD. I use it for my commute to and from work 10-15 min by scooter, cutting walk down from 30-40 mins. Overall I absolutely love it. It's my first scooter. I fold it up and put it in my locker (bikes get stolen because we have to lock them up outside). If it last a year, I'll be thrilled and it'll have been well worth it. It has shocks (from what I remember) but I really have to watch the potholes in the road as they could send me flying or at least give me a nasty jolt. With our roads, I wouldn't want to go faster than 25 Km. The 'expensive' scooter looks kickass, but don't think I'd be brave enough to go 50km on a scooter. Hats off to you. Great little invention for urban traveling. Also, my cheap one can't handle any kind of gravel roads; it's definitely a paved road kind. For other adventures, I'm going to get an ebike. Rode a friends last weekend. Amazing.

With Solid tire and with suspension is a better cheap scooter, like KS5 Pro. With the seat is better, more stable, less tiring and with the hook for grocery bags or backpack to free your shoulders. Perfect for city commute. Expensive ones are more for rural areas and long distance commute, bigger wheel is better.

Just bought my first scooter, and got it a few days ago. Unfortunately with the inclement weather, I haven't had a chance to ride it. Not being too familiar with scooters, I went with one that balanced weight/speed/range/price and ended up with a copycat scooter, the Fluid Freeride Horizon. Hoping it has enough endurance to last a year or two before upgrading to something that is a step up in quality. Though living on a third floor, it limits my options trying to find one that is still relatively light weight.

I got my self about 2 weeks ago an momodesign evo 9 form my local shop that had 4 scooters on display. I picked this one because it cost at time 420 euro instead of 500, and looks more solid and proper than scooters from xiaomi that also were there. Range technically is 25 kilometres but but I live in place with steep down and hills so I get about 8 kilometres before scooter starts to hardly struggle uphill. And also what I have noticed is there is no informations what so ever about evo 9 except couple sentences on online sellers pages. No reviews on YT, no nothing anything else. But non the less, I like this scooter even tho it can't be called best.

I’m into last mile type commuting to go on major public transport. Believe it or not 230 w rear hub drive Razor e300 may have same battery life issues that is better managed by its stock variable speed throttle than its predecessors. It still has kept the rugged performance as I frequently had to ride to the construction sites for work. Front pneumatic tire is tough maintenance to the components is simple but removing the rear wheel is “involved”. My expectations are realistic and does the same tasks as entry level scooters 3x the price.

Well I’m going to buy a Apollo Ghost Hydraulic I just ride the Apollo Phantom and the feeling was so great but you don’t have to forget that every scooter have to be scale on what pound/ kilo you do to have the perfect performance so if 200 pounds is better to have a expensive one than a cheaper with hydraulic and suspension this “expensive” scooter can support the weight between 200 to 300 pound and keep the good / max speed but the cheaper on can lose speed depends of your weight

I’m not an enthusiast, rather I’m a short commute scooter owner. I have the Niu but I considered the Apollo City. It fits my five mile, flat paved bike path, twice a week, and only in good weather commute (I drive in the rain and snow). The Apollo seemed better in most criteria, but the sale price of the Niu meant it was almost half the price of the Apollo - cost was a big concern. However, so too was quality. Virtually every video or article I watched or read praised the Niu’s build quality. My guess is the Apollo would have been a step up here too. In the end, the 2 year Niu warranty and it’s on sale price strongly influenced my decision. This is all to say, spend your money on what you need and enjoy your new scooter. I appreciate the video and the points made about the trade-offs for the money spent.

My first scooter was a joyor x5s and yes it was a mistake. When I got my refund, I added money a bought the Emove Cruiser and it was a scooter that could take a beating and still ask for more, from that was the eagle one. The Varla eagle one trained me for faster scooters which lead me to my Bumblebee aka the Vsett 10+. The Vsett 10 was the best upgrade to the Varla, the Vsett 10 has the best stem and really great suspension.

I currently have two electric scooters. I first got a razer e95 to test things out: It was painfully slow. So, I upgraded to razer's e300. I still use it to this day, and it's a nice $300 scooter. Battery mods are a difficult task, but they can be done (not much room in the battery compartment). My main complaints are having no modes, the throttle is all or nothing, no way of knowing how much battery is left, and no spedometer. If those features were impemented, then it would be an awesome $300 scooter. Especially if it had hot-swappable batteries!

As a KQi3 Sport owner I also gotta mention the big difference between the cheap and expensive scooter: accessibility. And I do not mean that the Cheap one can just be clicked together, charged and then is ready, but from a regulations standpoint. In my country (Austria) riding the Dualtron Victor out of the box is straight up ILLEGAL! Because the scooter is capable of speeds higher than 25km/h (15mph) and has much more power than the 600W limit, with the speed it can go it legally becomes a MOTORCYCLE! Meaning you need to register it with the Austrian DMV, slap a license plate on it, get it insured and most importantly, own a Motorcycle driver's license! Considering that in my country, getting a drivers license can cost a good 1000€! (nearly twice as much as the price of the KQi3 Pro) getting the scooter all legally setup can cost as much as the scooter itself, meaning you are looking at a good 5000$ at which price it would just make more sense to buy an actual 125ccm motorcycle (NIU is apparently working on an electric 125ccm equivalent.) These legal regulations deminish the entire purpose of the Dualtron's offroad capabilities in the first place because you are not allowed to just take it offroad anywhere you want. If you buy the cheap scooter, the NIU should last at least 2 years as it is under warranty. so for the price of the Dualtron in my country you could get about 6-8 KQi3 Sports that can last you for over a decade if you use them one after the other. (I am saying KQi3 Sport because the Pro with it's peak performance of 700W also has to go through all kinds of legal hoops here before it can be driven.) cheaper sub 600W scooters are considered bicycles. Meaning if you live in a bicycle friendly city with lots of cycling paths escooters can technically be your only means of transport within the city. Get a big backpack and turn your weekly grocery shopping to daily smaller grocery runs and the scooter basically becomes your only needed means of transportation making life a whole lot cheaper. I think cheaper scooters are more fitted for the European market whereas expensive ones fit the American market more. as long as the scooter is foldable you are allowed to take it on busses, trams and trains here so if you ever have a long trip all you need is your scooter to do the first and last mile and the public transit doing the heavy lifting. This makes the cheap scooter the far better choice but I do agree with you that it's better to still get a quality commuter scooter. I would generally stay away from all M365 clones, only getting the real deal from Xiaomi or buy from trusted reputable brands that have a big community like Ninebot or NIU.

Got an Unagi E500... Uh. It's okay for what I bought it for, but the biggest, most annoying problem is that adding any accessories or making modifications/personalizations is pretty much impossible. But it was my very first scooter, and I may find myself pushing boundaries more and more and wanting faster, or more off-road capable scoots in the future. (Recommendation as a first scooter? ... Well, I'm not totally disappointed yet.)

Above 1000$ scooters are higher maintenance too cause they aren’t built as rigid as shared scooter type scooters and you ride expensive scooters at 25 mph + which is more wear and tear on tires especially

@@DellSnooze yeah I still use it and it works perfectly. I recommend doing Uber eats or doordash etc after getting the scooter to pay it off quick just make sure to check all the main nuts and bolts before each ride (can use fingers and twist them to check tightness

I think there's one thing in common among high end expensive scooters beside speed, is that they are all very high up from the ground (high ground clearance), and almost no one ever mentioned that. Not sure why that's the case especially for their speed. Lower is better for stability at high speed.

Is it not for when turning at faster speeds that the wider bigger tires can cut the gap and then be better at handling bad roads so you don't hit the bottom of the scooter off the ground. I'm just thinking I'm not 100% sure

I started with an E-Scoot scooter that cost me exactly $400 with shipping. I was in a bind, barely had an income and had my mountain bike stolen. The E-scoot was a blessing. But then I began my career at FedEx and the E-Scoot could barely get me to work, 7.5 miles at 15mph on a bike path with some very bumpy areas along the way. I upgraded to a V-Sett 8+. A whole different type of beast! Dual 600w motors (25mph max speed) and over twice the range maxing out at 30 miles (as rated anyway), I've rode about 25 using dual motors off and on and still had the juice to get home (about another 2 miles or so), 27 miles is close enough to the rating. The V-Sett 8+ is probably considered an entry level expensive/enthusiast scooter. Definitely not cheap at $1,399. But it's not a Varla Eagle One or a Dualtron either. It cut my commute time to work by 20 minutes and has joint saving suspension which I found to be a must for any ride over 3 miles with any bumps along the way. The V-Sett 8+ is a major improvement and easily gets the job done. It will be enough until I replace it with a car.

there is a GPS gadget called "Dragy". it updates GPS rapidly enough, and is commonly unsed for scooter performance testing. some riders attatch it ontop of their helmet. it. it then sends the Data and Measurements to your phone. in the app, you can set up a variety of different testing parameters. - various accelleration molestones ... (like the scooter takes 15 seconds from 0 to 20 km/h) - various distance milestones ... (like the scooter takes 190 seconds to reach a distance of 1km) - or brakes (like it takes 2.5 seconds from 20 to 0 km/h) (where the brake test tells more about the rider than the scooter itself) quite a handy device. if you want, i can send you a german youtube i know who uses the Dragy regularly. he uses it for performance tests on all the scooters he gets his hand on, and did a short unboxing/presentation when he firtst got it.

I've had my xiaomi m365 pro for four years and ride it almost every day, until last month when it just stopped working- I had upgraded every part imaginabe with high quality aftermarket upgrades {momorim suspensions,etc.} Im still working to get it going again and confident I will be able to fix it. However I purchased two more scooters in the meantime- 1 $1500 Urban Drift Gobi S #2 $450 Hiboy Max 3. i recommend the Max3 to anyone but the urban drift has issues not work the extra $1000 in price.

I urgently have a kqi2 and I love it I just changed the grips out for fifty-fifty blue lock grips that extend the length a bit and I love the cruse control on it. I also have a fat tire bike that goes about 30mph and a populou road bike that goes maybe 20 with upgraded tires and used to have a more powerful I’d say mid grade scooter but I gave it to someone for their kid that was looking for an upgrade for them but I do miss it that’s okay though it was a good cause. Also I love me regular mtb with tubeless tires and was thinking of getting an electric removable or portable friction motor for it when my girlfriend rides my fat tire bike so we can both go off road easily.

Tried a NIU KQI2 PRO and ended up going with an Inokim OX Super. It was $1000 with taxes and shipping so about 2x the price, but it's infinitely more smooth, takes me at least 3 times as far at around 28mph (max 31, min 26) compared to around 17mph with the KQI 2 PRO and is far easier to maintain. I would've liked to go with a faster scooter, but since I was buying two (one for me and one for my brother), 1k was already a pretty big ask for a scooter. It gets us to and from the gym, provides us with a fun/inexpensive way of getting around the city, and saves us on paying for parking.

Damn you ride fast! I’ve got 3 escooters that will hit 25mph and I don’t go over 6mph normally. I have reached top speed and I find if you jump a little just before cruse control kicks in you can get it a little quicker when it does.

I have the D18W from Segway it's only $300 AND I love it the only downside is the range. I have a 3-mile commute to and from work so this is perfect for me, but... if you have a commute over 5 miles round trip I would not recumbent this scooter.

I find that newer companies are willing to give a better price for high quality. A Segway would like cost more than a NUI for the same features. Honestly, the advantages of the expensive scooter over the cheap scooter doesn't justify the cost difference.

Garmin. GPS units work great for you speed tests just an idea. Lezyne is affordable and does the same thing. Personally I have a Lezyne Mega XL and a Garmin 520 which I use more often and the Lezyne just sits around. Since they are dedicated GPU units they update faster than a phone.

I'd love to get an electric scooter for riding to work 6 or 7 months out of the year, but something that can go a few days between needing to be charged (30 Km) round trip is just not really cost effective for me. Like, I'd be looking at over $3500 to get something like a Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 Pro Plus. I do wish there was something in that $2000 CAD price point that would ride well on the rough roads and still have good range and performance.

Kaabo wolf is probably a little too high end for a commuter scooter. I would go with something like the nanrobot D6+. Right now you pick one up for about $1400 (regular price is $1700). 40mph. Swing arm suspension. Descent company. A lot of good reviews on the D6

i have the xiaomi pro 2 and its well worth the money i bought it brand new 2 months ago and made 700km with it i modded it to 35kmh, so i can get faster wherever i want i paid 550 eur for it, 50 more for the number plates coz germany so total 600 eur. it has 30-35km range on one charge, depending on how fast you drive, thats more than enough for me. i use it to go everywhere, from home to school, or meetings, even night rides. It has never dissapointed. its one of the best scooters for this price range, and from a reputable company.

i bought a second hand kugoo g-booster 2 months ago...this cheap low quallity scooter is amazing..i ride in the coldest weather running atleast 40km every night with full throttle and a lots ot start-stops like a mad man.,..i did 50km with remaiming voltage for 10 more for sure..sometimes i think the advertised range of 85km is very much possible even in 5 degrees Celsius outside temp...i had to swap the brakes for full hydraulics Avid SL for that amazing stopping power i needed badly and i made my own steering column made of pure calibrated steel because the OEM alloy is not good for the steering...its very sturdy but it doesnt like its powerful acceleration and emergency stopping because it starts to bend in and out and eventually it cracks in the welded point...my new custom steering column is awesome,but i think soon i will need stronger joint...i will do that too with my friend who can make everything from any metal i want...idk how to say it in english..he is Стругар...metalworking guy in Bulgarian language..i swapped the original 10inch for 11" tires too...the scooter is awesome and if you dont mind the stiffer suspension you can have a massive fun with it...just remember...if the voltage falls to 45V in rest you should turn off dual mode and go home in eco mode :) i had a turn off event and its not funny to push this 33kg (accesorys) scooter 5km away from my home...lesson learned and i never had to push it again...the top speed is 55 no matter if you are 60kg like me or you are 100 like some of my friends...55kph is your top speed every time your voltage is 50V+ in rest...48V or less your top speed is going down to 40 and 37 was my max speed just before the turn off event...idk if it did that because i was on full throttle,but it was a surprise for my because i thought i have enought voltage to get home...next time i will try to put it in 2nd or even 1st gear to see if i can do more miles...yes i know its bad for the battery so i will do this only if i need to get home on low battery...not for fun..i love my EsCOOTER...i will buy FASTER one some day..i promise...love you guys,see you in the eScooter heaven (i hope) hahahah Have fun

DRAGGY I havent read any comments but.. To get good readings use “Draggy” I use it for my M series BMW to take 1/4 mile hits. Very accurate. 10 1/4 mile runs with the car running fully automatic and the car registers near identical times including 0-30, 0-60, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 60-0, 30-0, and a bunch of other things that u shouldn’t need.

I got my xiaomi mi pro 2 a while ago. It has a smidge under 1000 km on the odometer and it has been amazing since I bought it. The claimed range is 28 miles, I can get it to go about 26 in sport mode, so that's great. The only issue is that the speed limit of 15 mph is dog slow. Still for 500€ I'm happy with it. Tons of spare parts are available too.

I personally have a ninebot max which has the reputation of being supposedly the most reliable electric scooter overall and build quality is literally so good. Although, the tires in the max can be pretty difficult to change chances of that happening is very low it seems like. I've done off roading on it and ride on stuff like rocks and nails vice versa never had a flat. I personally think it's the most "ride and forget" scooter you can get I've seen reviews from people who rode it for a few thousand miles vice versa and essentially no issues. It's not something you should go for thrilling wise obviously, as it's purpose is commuting I do plan to upgrade to a vsett 10 in the future.

I have a Vsett 8+ and it's awesome! The Vsett 10 is an excellent choice for an upgrade. Hell, my Vsett 8+ has damn near scary acceleration and it's on level 4 out of 5. I don't feel level 5 is necessary. I don't like whiplash lol! And where I live anything over 25mph is a diminishing return until you can do 45 and take it onto the open city streets. I almost upgraded to the Vsett 9+, but 30 to 33mph is too much for bike paths or residential streets and not enough to ride safely in traffic. If I ever up-grade it will be for a Varla or a Dualtron. But I'll probably just get a car when I can. I'm not an enthusiast, I just needed a pretty serious scooter to get to work until I can get a car. The Vsett 8+ was a good combo of better than average speed and a decent price in the over $1,000 category.

Love that if I need the extra power, hills or extreme winds, I just switch in the second motor and continue in the same speed. Loving it, just wished it was legal where I live.

Got 4 myself, s2 and pro then that giant piece of crap the kugoo m4 pro which has had nothing but qc issues with useless alibaba support. I recently got the ninebot max and honestly its been amazing its tough and i can finally commute relatively stress free through most weather. I'd love to buy a dual motor at this point but honestly scared of possible qc problems and having a difficult time repairing the issue so might go to an ebike next time

Niu is a brand that makes motorcycles and mopeds so it's a good brand too!! Currently, the Niu Qki 3 pro model costs less in sales and there is another slightly more superior model, the Niu Qki 3 Max, which is more expensive than the previous models and has a little more specifications! There is also another new model of Dualtron Victor Luxury with a little more specifications!! Currently in the section of mid-level scooters (in terms of features) and high in price quality is Xiaomi Segway Ninebot, two good brands that are at the top! Segway Ninebot and Xiaomi are one of the best that I have currently tested, very well built, they are at the same level as a Dualtron in terms of the quality they offer !! So choosing between Dualtron or Xiaomi or Segway Ninebot or Niu is up to each individual. It depends who wants more power or someone who just wants to move around the city easily and doesn't need so much power !! I personally like both, high-powered scooters and also moderately powered scooters to go more calmly, because not every day is the same and not every day you feel like going 80 km per hour, right? apart from the fact that it is not legal in our region!
