I’ve looked at Benz S class, and BMW 7 series and for whatever reason the voice inside my head tela me “ No, no buddy ….. take the Lexus !” I’ll take the Lexus on a cross country road trip without thinking about it, not so on the Benz or BMW ( maybe if they’re brand spanking new) . There should be no reason why the screen display should be just a like a detachable monitor plugged into the top of the dashboard. That’s not acceptable for a luxury car. I’ll take that from a Mazda or Honda. The monitor screen should be incorporated into the dashboard, not sticking out of it. The Acura TLX has a nicer Dashboard.

I still think that even if your budget is high enough to afford the Mercedes S class or BMW 7 series, the LS500 on the correct trim is the most sensible purchase as this definitely has lower chance of having reliability issues like the german cars, which will save you money and hold the car's value longer. And I also think this current design still looks more beautiful and unique than the German cars. Don't even get me started on the current 7 series. 🤮🤣

You really don't need the rear steering, that's just a meaningless gimic, and also don't need the soft door shut, those are expensive when they break. But, I agree that this F sport model is missing some basic amanities for a luxury sedan, like the 360 camera that matches or beats competitors because Lexus's 360 camera is a joke, and the read heated/ventilated seats, and other basic items should be standard for this price range. I think, these are the reasons why this LS doesn't sell well.
@drhassan6892 Жыл бұрын
Rear axle steering on the S class ranges from 4.5 to 8 degrees and that makes a HUGE difference, it makes the car turn and handle like a much smaller vehicle. It also allows for you to steer into much smaller parking spots and make maneuvers reserved for smaller vehicles. In the Lexus I believe it is 2 degrees but that will still make a noticeable difference in handling.
@ndenkha Жыл бұрын
@@drhassan6892 Not denying the difference, but rest assured it's not a big deal. If someone can't park a large sedan they shouldn't be driving one. The cost of repair to this system or the air suspensions are horrendous and not worth it at all. Remember when Honda came up with the 4-wheel steering in the 90s, no one made a big deal about it, so this is not something new and it's been proved to be costly.
