…just went by my local dealer today and saw 2024 black Z06 HTC 3LZ with sticker of $150,900 and they’ve got an additional $50K ADM bringing it to over $200K! It was ordered for stock too…they’ve got a $20K markup on a ‘24 Stingray 3LT in Sea Wolf Grey. Markups are far from over in my area…that’s why I went with a small town dealer 325 miles away to get my ‘24 Stingray at MSRP…

The free world economies operate on a supply and demand system. The prices of sold items vs asking price is always repeat always determined by The Consumer. If Consumers stop buying at a certain price The Market corrects by lowering the asking price. Real Estate Stocks Yachts Art are prime examples of a Market based financial system. I saw a HTC at the Car Culture Houston Car Show I was in 2 weeks ago that had the Hole cut in the top so you could see the engine with the top closed. I forgot to ask him where he had it done and the cost. But if he attends the next car show, I will find out. It was very well done. Oh, I also crossed the 500 mile threshold 😁 so she’s broken in. I need to send you some new pics of my Z. I just picked it up from the detailer, they had it for a week getting, Tint, PPF, Ceramic Coat and my Radar Detector mirror tapped,it turned out really nice 😊

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with the MSRP OR the mark up on this car. That is how supply and demand work. With that being said, there is no way I could ever afford a car like this. The markup alone is more than the combined value of two cars I currently own + the two cars I previously owned. These cars are for a select few - period. WIth tax, title, fees and all that other jazz, you are looking at almost $200K.

I like it...unlike so many others, I would go for bright wheels. Would be perfect with the red mist. Note it has bright exhaust tips. I would have all the badges bright as well. Note the California "Reveal Car" had bright wheels and badges. I would have trouble with glare from a light colored dipped dash. Should have been a alcantera style instead of leather.

How do you know if the previous owner did a proper engin break-in to prevent egine failure? This is the best C8 color; reminds me of Long Beach tri coat Metalic.

Economy is crashing hard now. All the used c8 z06’s are not selling. Just because the market says it’s valued there doesn’t mean they are being bought. I’m planning to back off my z06 order at msrp. Take a look at the house market 20% crash with in 30 days, and people are still not buying homes either.

Audi and Porsche offer $30k off msrp on specific vehicles, used c8 z06’s are not being touched, same cars are still sittings on dealers lots. Many houses have dropped their prices by 20% with in 30 days, and still listed for sale. I have many friends at dealerships who said the traffic flow disappeared. Something is going on, a shift is happening right now. GM is shutting down all their EV production, not sure if it’s temporary or permanent. Ford is also having trouble selling their EV’s. What do you think is going to happen if ford or GM go bankrupt? I’ve been watching how many businesses are getting shut down recently. Even the people who are building my project, said they lost most of their clients recently. Something is happening.
