I put my VIN number in and got my fuel cap parts number for Mopar and put the number in Google and it took me to Amazon and told me that was the exact part And it was OEM....well it wasn't.... And it looked like the exact one you took off there... That yellow gasket gives it away. There are a few Dodge parts dealers online, I wound up getting one out of Arizona from Mopar, about $20 And the light went off

My girls 07 Nitro had those evap leak codes and I had her replace her gas cap but she got an aftermarket Amazon special and it was still there so I got her an oem cap and it was still there. Found out it was that white box you attached your smoke hose too. Those tend to fail in the nitros and probably all of the dodges that have those. The new esim comes with a new gasket so I was good there. Wish this video came out 6mos ago! lol appreciate it brother!!

I got my ESIM from dodge dealer and had to pay extra for the gasket.

@@unclemarksdiyauto that’s crazy. I ordered my girls from rock auto and it came with the gasket. Never understood why some parts don’t come with the required gaskets. When i get the oil filter for my 21’ 4Runner it comes with the gaskets for the filter and the drain plug gasket. Yet some of the ESIM’s don’t come with the required gasket.

@@KendrasEdge757 I guess they want to charge extra for the part? Why not just include it with the part.
@KendrasEdge757 Жыл бұрын
@@unclemarksdiyauto yeah I don’t understand….i guess it would have to be for profit. Either that or ignorance. Either of which isn’t a good look when the part requires a gasket.

Maybe use the hose removal tool before pulling on it lol....

I agree with him with my old vehicle a 97’ Honda Civic I lost a gas cap then I put any aftermarket gas cap then it threw a CEL fault code then I took my car to the Honda Dealership they told me I have to use OEM gas cap because aftermarket gas cap can’t hold a seal like OEM gas cap can. 🙂

Actually it's smoke and the oil that u use at OEM should have a uv dye in it so u can see the trace under us light

I have a 04 Ram 1500. I have those same codes small and large leak including P0420. I’ve changed everything on there in where I still have the same issue. Changed purge valve solenoid, charcoal canister and the seal, leak detection pump and filter plus had to buy a whole new exhaust system due to someone stealing the seller catalytic converters. So I don’t know what else to do at this point, any help would be appreciated.

I don't think I've ever seen an OEM ESIM seal leak. The ESIM itself likes to crack on the thin piece of plastic that attaches the connector to the body.

OK, at your request, I will start the critique over on another clip/video of yours. First and most recent video that popped up. You self claim to be at the top and known...yet you can't get your terminology correct and appear not to know how your equipment operates 😂 In this video you have repeated the phrase "steam" numerous times over (which is incorrect) and have now essentially told your viewers...who are most likely the average person who knows little to nothing about vehicles...that is is OK to blast "steam" into thier charcoal canisters to locate a evap leak 😮 surely the canister, vent valves etc. won't be damaged by forcing heated water vapors into the system?!?!😂 I honestly would just laugh hysterically if I ever heard you were being sued because people need to repair their vehicles from your faulty vocabulary/information in your clips/videos 😂

But you still an unknown nobody. You would help your cause by simply make videos on your channel an explain on your videos how things should be done on them. On these videos on this channel thats what I do, thats not your line. So simply get off the sideline dude and make a youtube channel, I already have one. I would even subscribe to see/hear your thoughts on your videos. We will be waiting, im sure I can get at least 1k of these 179k subscribers to check you out. Because right now you just lip service but continue.

@OnlineMechanicTips Maybe you would help your own case by not posting clips/videos of you scamming people and giving faulty information because you can't use the correct terminology, which can lead people to damage thier vehicles. If you don't like to have people criticize from the comments section...then maybe don't post public clips/videos and have an open comments section 🤣 I know it hurts that your ego that you don't just have a cheer squad of non-techs that will just praise whatever garbage that you posted to make you feel special or important or something 🤣

@@morenpchangjw8868 But you still here trying to give me a advise via lip service. In case you forgot this is KZbin dude. A video platform. Impress me by starting a channel and upload videos with your opinions. Flex your knowledge that way, im not impressed by your comments. You keep just popping ya trap but not flexing. I would love to learn from you so get to work and stop being a sideline cheerleader, I have enough of those.

@OnlineMechanicTips LOL 😂 ain't that funny how your fragile little ego needs to report comments because you are too dumb to realize how the world operates...if you want to puy yourself out there on a PUBLIC forum...you will be criticized by some people but I guess your brain can't comprehend that🤣 Again it is funny that you don't have an argument against my criticism except you are OK with scamming your customers and that I am somehow insulted by not having a youtube channel. You are now just making yourself look like a fool 🤣
