I've owned over 50 mk1 TTS over the years, so I figured it was time to buy something a little different... can you guess what it is?

Awesome stuff mate! I love the shape of the MK2 and hope to upgrade from my mk1 to a mk2 at some point. The mk2 just looks so modern and sporty. I honestly like it a lot more than the mk1

I like the drivability of the 2.0 over the 1.8 5v. More torque down low and your not waiting for boost.

The mk2 will add a good bit a variety to the channel, looking forward to future videos.

Looking forward to seeing more on this one,do you still have the MK1 V6 and which do you prefer,I too have a MK1 & MK2 and I love them both,the MK2 seems easier to work on being newer and the obvious one being less rust underneath

I appreciate the handling of mk2 is better and for that reason it's a good car but I'm afraid the looks just aint for me. I always said the designer of the mk2 must have gone for lunch and the student designers got into the laptop and changed it for a prank. The mk3 looks great so I don't have "newer than mk1 envy" but otherwise, nah. And I think the rear is what kills it the most. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder obviously so I really hope you/everyone emjoys whatever revision of TT they have!

I couldn’t agree more- i have never liked the mk2 styling! Luckily for me i cant see it when im enjoying driving it 😂 i will be doing a few bits to try and change the appearance, but it will never hold a candle to the mk1!

@@BWSTT I'm sure it's a better package than the Mk1 so enjoy it. I'll be interested to see how it goes. Doe the active springs fail as often as the R8 ones given it's from a similar time period?

One day maybe have a newer roadster, MK2, the MK1 s are old cars now and do have a lot of age related problems. So don't blame you for the update one bit 👍

Love the new car mate, I think the MK2 needs a little more external cosmetics to stand out compared to the MK1 for sure. I think you will end up enjoying the MK2 more simply because it ticks the boxes for what you want than the MK1. Oh, you are looking thin bro! Doing well.

It's funny that you've come out with this video. I wanted to purchase another car to replace my MK1 and I want to have that TT feeling, because it's always got me through thick and thin. My choice was a TTS MK2 so I'm glad you got one, just convinces me more :D (I want to get the manual quattro model of course too)

Hi mate. I’ve been watching your channel for a while now! I’ve got a mk1 225 and I have a slight problem. So when I accelerate between 70-80 I get a shake/vibration/shudder? At 60 it’s fine over 80 it’s fine! I’ve done wheels and tyres also balancing. What would you recommend it could be? Cheers
@BWSTT10 ай бұрын
Hard to say really, but for example ive had bad flywheels that vibrate, bad bushes that cause wobble at certain speeds, so cant be much use remotely, sorry
