Kicking myself because I did want to take at least take 1 game against Joey In all seriousness you should take a look at some of the other tournaments. Combobreaker was a pretty small side bracket. Frosty Faustings and CEOtaku had some much bigger and more hype brackets. Check em out sometime. Cool to see you check out some Persona at all though

Ultimax came out in an unfortunate time back in 2014. It was sandwiched between Xrd -Sign- and UNIEL iirc, and just after the localized version of BBCP. You had split focus from the anime FGC at the time, but it was a good problem to have back then.

I think almost nothing has made me rage as much in fighting games as having to play vs Shadow Mitsuru. I do sometimes miss playing Yukari and Labrys though, and the music is just amazing overall. I might have to start booting this up again.

P4U was such a weird game. They were trying to attract casual players with autocombos and simple inputs...while cramming the game full of more esoteric mechanics than three other fighting games put together. It's still great fun, though, and oozes style and love for the Persona series.
