Counterfeit parts are a problem. GM faces this every day in the warehouse defect bins. They sell factory parts, but many shops try to boost profits by returning defects from other vehicles. NiCop is a popular brake line. But there are eBay companies list as Peru or other South America countries that have thin walls when checked with ASTM or DOT specs. 😮 I found this myself and fear folks trying to save money are putting on their car or truck. It’s on thing to have a lifter noise, but quit different to have a brake failure while driving your go-fast you have worked on for 8 years. Check & pay attention & research like Tatts for Life! Thank you kindly for bring this up! ASE Master, 78 retired.

How do you tell if it is collapsed? What I have found is the one way checkball will prevent you from being able to push the top cup down. This is because air or oil in the bottom part of the lifter.
