Thanks for your help. I can’t believe I have to go through this process just to get the documents I need to study abroad. My boyfriend isn’t Filipino and when he went to Australia to study his uni, the only thing he needed to do was to send a scan of his Official School Records to the University in Australia. Aside from that, the University in Australia arranged everything else with his School back home. For all these unnecessary bureaucracy, I don’t want my kid to study in the Philippines.

Hi, salamat sa detailed explanation at mga sagot mo sa comment sobra nainform ako. Ibang iba na pla ngayon ang proceso. Mas naging matrabaho pa pla ngayon ang Apostille processing kesa sa red ribbon naka dalawang balik ako sa school ng kapatid ko para lang sa CAV tapos ako pa din ang nag submit online, sa ngayon inaantay ko pa ma release, pagod, an layo ko pa naman sa manila, samantalang nung 2013 sa school ko noon wala pang isang oras nakuha ko na lahat ng required documents and on that same day direcho na ko sa ched. Imbes na pinadali ngayon lalo pang dumami ang proceso. Hay buhay.

Good day! For refiling, we can accept an Old Authentication Certificate (RED RIBBON) for Apostille considering the following: 1. Document was issued 2011 and beyond. 2. Authentication Certificate, red ribbon, gold seal and rivet are intact to the document. 3. Document is in good condition, not mutilated and no visible tampering 4. Document does not state any expiration date nor validity 5. Document is not yet stamped or used in any agencies and embassies If you can consider all factors stated above, then appointment is strictly required for Apostille/Authentication services. No. One has to get an appointment at the DFA first, right now the earliest appointment available in DFA Manila is not until Nov 4. We also have operations in DFA Davao that has an earlier appointment schedule but not until Oct 11.

If you received the CAV from CHED in a sealed envelope then you should not have opened it po. However, if open lang then no need to put it in a sealed envelope

Depends on the DFA branch. In DFA Aseana there is no need for an Apostille. In DFA Ali Ali Mall, a confirmed appointment is needed

There are schools who can issue CAV themselves. Upon looking further, mukhang di allowed itong school na to na mag offer ng graduate program as per CHED memorandum issued in April 14, 2020. I am not sure if your school records would be usable. Please ask nlng the school for CAV and then you can processing for Apostille at the DFA.

Ask ko lang po pwede ba kumuha ng Apostille o CAV kahit hindi pa nagapply ng abroad kumbaga nagready lang po. at CHED lang po ba ang option para kumuha ng Apostille? meron kasi ako nakita na NBI lang gamit para kumuha ng Apostille may pinagkaiba po ba kapag kumuha ng Apostille sa CHED ang gamit at NBI? Hi, I already graduate year 2000. I don't know kung ang school noong college still open. Plan ko po kc pumunta s Qatar my friend who's working there told me kailangan ko daw i-red ribbon TOR and DIPLOMA. Di b Sabi nyo s video n ito kailangan ko CAV.. paano ko po makukuha kung sarado n Yung school ko. Meron po bang record ang ched or tesda. Plss tulungan nyo po ako kung Anong dapat Kong gawin

Yes possible po. For refiling, we can accept an Old Authentication Certificate (RED RIBBON) for Apostille considering the following: 1. Document was issued 2011 and beyond. 2. Authentication Certificate, red ribbon, gold seal and rivet are intact to the document. 3. Document is in good condition, not mutilated and no visible tampering 4. Document does not state any expiration date nor validity 5. Document is not yet stamped or used in any agencies and embassies If you can consider all factors stated above, then appointment is strictly required for Apostille/Authentication services. Also, further evaluation will be done once documents are personally handed to the processor.

Yes but you still need to process for CAV. An alternative is to do the following: FOR CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY PRIVATE ENTITY to be Apostilled Please send the original TOR with the following supporting documents: * Notarized Affidavit of Authenticity.
