7:55 My great grandmother was obsessed with fashion and before she passed she made it super clear that she expected all of us to show up dressed to the nines. Lol the day of her funeral, it was like a competition to see who could show up in the best fit! And Mildred was a sharp one so she had already decided what she'd be wearing in her casket - I've never seen a church hat that ornate and extra. Some people thought it sounded weird but it honestly helped make an already heartbreaking situation easier. She got to go out with the same energy she lived life with 😂

This is honestly such a great way to go! It reminds me of funerals in my country. We usually (if one is Catholic) hold 9 day prayer vigils. After the prayers are done, everyone gets together to play games, drink, tell jokes, and even make fun of the dead friend/family member. Because they want to celebrate their lives rather than mourn their passing. By the end of it, though there will still be plenty of tears, we will also have good memories to keep.

Oh yeah, that's great! And even better because she herself had requested it. My friend's mum passed away some years ago (way too young) and the dress code for the funeral was colourful, as she loved colours in everything in life. No one wore black and it felt like a real celebration of her life! We all had our best floral dresses on and such.

Since I have chronic major depression, every single day is really difficult and hard for me... I arrive at the end of the day completely drained of my energy... But every day seeing the notification that Charlotte has posted a video (her uploads are at 5pm for my time zone), gives me a big smile and makes me feel excited to watch the video a couple of hours later, since I can't immediately. And every time, her humor, her energy, her smiles, everything in her videos makes me feel so much better, my skin relaxes ans it's not tense anymore. I had the same exact thing happen to me at the nail shop at the first girl!!! I was like it my hand!!! They told me I was be too particular and it was coffin shape. @Ben Jones Good luck! Do your FAFSA even if you think you won't qualify for any scholarships etc! For real I ended up with a bunch of scholarships I didn't even know existed and I was able to help a lot of friends qualify too, it's worth it! Edit: Also, resist the loans if you can, js. I was able to get by only taking one small one when I needed a security deposit for a place but my friends ended up in so much debt taking the loans everytime they were approved. x.x Much better to struggle a bit than end up paying it off for decades. Edit2: P.S. if you grew up in a single parent household and the parent you didn't live with has a larger income there are ways to keep it from being counted against you. They tried to count my dad's income even though my Mum was the one I'd lived with and it would have disqualified me from a ton of stuff. If you can show that the parent with the lower income was the one caring for you etc you can end up getting approved for more.

It is easy in your position to overlook that but it is SO IMPORTANT. Go on walks, meet friends, exercise, whatever floats your boat. Specifically yesterday, I, a bakery worker, was told to go to the deli to slice meat til their line died down, and I, who doesn't know how to do that?? said no and I was busy with /my/ [understaffed] department, so I got attitudes and blame thrown at me even though the deli line died down in literally 5 mins, so it was just all a waste of time and energy and I WISH I could just tell management they do nothing and THEY are the failures for not properly staffing their store. Wanna say "you ever hear the saying you get what you pay for?" Like, it's so bad and sad in that place, man. Usually I'm able to shrug those things off bc I KNOW it's not my fault, but it had been a particularly tough past few days (thinking about it, weeks), and I guess that was the straw that broke the camel's back :/ I'm better today, though, it's still so annoying when the people who do NOTHING put the blame on you, who works hard every day and gets spit on for it 😒

13:13 what people don't understand about tequila is that you're not supposed to 'shot' it. it's a sipping alcohol. you're supposed to take tiny sips from the glass that it's in. and because you're not supposed to drink very much of it, it's common for it to be placed into the smallest glass available, which happens to usually be a 'shot' glass.... This is why most people usually get sick off of drinking it. A. they drink it too fast, and B. they drink too much of it...

One time my roommate burned her pizza in the oven and the fire alarm went off, and then later someone knocks on the door and says “fire department.” We open, and it’s two HOT AF firefighters who tell us our security system called them when the alarm went off. White gloss. Omg 😂 something similar happened to me!!!! I had a "moonstone" lip balm it was brand new, it came in a subscription box. I take it to work and mid shift my lips feel chapped so I apply. I went over my lips a few times because it felt so balmy and good. I'm sitting at the front desk typing my notes (I'm a nurse) I noticed people looking at me funny but I ignore it cuz I worked with Aholes. I go for a bathroom break and was startled 😨 at what I saw in the mirror!!!🪞 My lips were fucking shimmery blue!!!😂 Apparently the "moonstone" meant it was shimmery blue iridescence 😅. In regard to the "friend telling you about the life-changing makeup products," I've had something similar happen. I watch Shorts on KZbin a lot, and constantly see things from dermatologists about different skin care products to use, what they do, why they're effective, and even brands they recommend. I was surprised to see that none of them are expensive names. Anyway, being that I'm 40, I needed to start using different products and really change my skincare routines (and even make some). OMG, once I started using some of the products they mentioned, I saw a difference almost immediately. I was actually asking myself how have I not been using them for so long. The influence was me! My mom hated the brand essence for some reason. I think because it's very cheap. But I tried their brow gel with filling fibers and I loved it a lot. I thought my mom would love it too! So I bought one for her for Christmas as a goodie and she has been loving it since. She even bought one for a friend and she liked it too. Because as she describes it: "it makes your brows wet and adds a little something without being too noticeable and it's super easy to apply. I will add a pencil if I have time but alone is so quick to use." same for a lot of other essence stuff. I gave it to her to try some and she stole them from me. Like forgot to give it back and religiously used those products. She even asks me on vacation when I have it with me if I could give it to her also. She has her own because I bought her some for Christmas last year. I called it the things you steal from me that you love a lot. And she loves them. I can find these things in her bags she loves them that much.

Dw girl your content perks me up every day! There was a beauty trend about 25 years ago where women were drinking their urine because they thought it would keep them from getting wrinkles. I filled in at a urologist friends office as a favor for him at the time, and we had 3 women come in one day that asked about it. He told them you couldn't pay him enough to drink urine.

I'm a retired flight attendant and we used to prank the newbie pilots. We'd tell them that the whole crew had to go to the drug testing area after our trip was over. When they'd go into the bathroom to pee in the plastic cup I'd give them, we'd pull out all of our own cups and put apple juice with varying amounts of water so they'd all be different colors. Once they were out of the lav, the captain would come out of the cockpit holding his cup too and tell the whole crew that the testing was called off. We'd all cheer, clink plastic cups and down the contents! Saw a lot of green faces 😂😂😂

My grandmother did this. The first pee in the morning, and baby pee was liquid gold! 😂 When my niece was a baby, grandma would take the diaper and rub it all over her face. She had beautiful skin.

OMG! I went with my besti, Rhapsody, out and about in NYC and we needed glosses and I chose the same “clear”(Rhapi got pink) from Katie and she couldn’t stop laughing and took it off my lips quick in the streets…thanks to baby Jesus that it was night time😂…..it was sooo funny 😂😂
