I’m a dancer and I have a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. It’s a connective tissue disorder that causes hypermobility and can cause frequent dislocations. I’ve dislocated things more than I can count. Chimmy might have something similar if she keeps dislocating things. Especially since when the paramedic asked “Did you feel it pop?” and she said no. The popping is usually a ligament tearing, but if you have a connective tissue disorder, the ligaments don’t usually tear, they just overstretch so that the joint slips out of place. It’s super weird.

Last year I was on a y3 team and it was a few months before the summit (worlds for 5r and under) and we where in triple handsprings and I hear a crack, My wrist was swollen and my hand was numb. I’ve been cheering for 10 years and I’ve been doing triples for 6 years my coaches thought I was being over dramatic because I’ll admit I am a little dramatic. The next day my dad took me to the hospital and it was broken. I had to have surgery because the break was so bad. I was out for 6 weeks. Edit: we won summit

I’m from England, if you broke a thumb, or dislocated it, you would never ever ever get an ambulance. They would probs laugh at you, and wouldn’t turn up for 2 days. That’s free health care though. I hope C is ok xx

I know this episode was about Chimmy getting hurt, and the paramedics were there for her, however I think Enrique shouldve gotten checked out too at the hospital because he could’ve gotten a concussion even though he said he was fine. You never know though because symptoms could’ve developed later for him.

Right? My mom & dad would have been pissed. I crushed my wrist and broke my arm. It looked like a long noodle (gross I know) but we drove to the hospital. Thank God we had great insurance but my parents would have flipped at the bill if I would have taken an ambulance. It's like 6 or 7 hundred I think to use it.

A lot of gyms have a requirement that they have to call an ambulance for certain things. If you call them they have to come but you only pay if you go with them. Also urgent care would probably just send her to ER because most don’t have ortho there then she’d have to pay for both.
