If runners' previous best scores were listed, Cheese would easily have probably the top 10 runs over Liamkings right now. Liamkings has cut Cheese's lead from 45 seconds... to 39 seconds. He's got a looooong way before he's giving Cheese a run for his money... and he's closer than anyone else Cheese is the Tiger Woods of this game right now. Nobody's got a chance at overtaking cheese unless they beat him to a big new shortcut... which isn't likely to happen in a 100% run. A any% run always runs the chance of a new record via a new undiscovered glitch, but it would probably take multiple drastic new timesaves at the same time for the door to crack on that record... and you've still gotta beat Cheese to the glitch and have a hell of a run anyway.

Cheese, what I enjoy about your streams the most is the variety of discussions that take place, all while you play an extremely technical and bonkers game at the highest level. In just the first 25 minutes, there's discussions about language, technical differentiation between capture cards, music (i'm very partial to Metropolis II from Dream Theater, but their true apex is A Change of Seasons imo) and I'm sure more talking points are to come. But after the small music discussion I had to comment. Been watching you for 3 years making the record better, smoother and faster. That also means being there during the hard nights where the frustration was amplified. I noticed quite a few places where a faster time could be achieved. Totalling about 6-7 minutes shorter than what he posted. Super Mario on N64 is still not at the "perfect" time. We need a better time. There were quite a few mistakes I saw that could lead to a better time. We have yet to hit the time in this category, but hopefully this motivated Cheese to continue pushing for that "perfect" score to prove that speedrunning is legit a talent that involves so many parts of the brain. It is an amazing thing, testing the brain in this way. I find it super awesome and really motivating for people to be efficient, and not wasting, as people tend to be.
