My daughter's teacher sent out a text letting us know World Central Kitchen is giving out meals in our area and when I saw it I said "Hey it's the guy from Colbert!" Unfortunately I'll be at work during the distribution (I was curious to try a meal and they'd be handy for my daughter while my husband and I are at the hospital), but I'd rather they go to families that are out of work and need them more anyway. Big thanks to Chef José for the work he does, it's much appreciated!

"Let me tell you what is happening right now, Stephen. The onion that has been alone under the dirt for long weeks...the onion finally met the beautiful red tomato. And they are telling each other 'hey baby, where have you been all my life?' And the tomato tells the onion, 'I've been above ground, waiting for you to come up.' In this moment, what you see what's happening...this smell is the smell of love."

Quarantine midnight mania madness idea : jazz up those plain kitchen cupboards! Though I'm buggered if I know what would go with those tiles. I'm thinking maybe a darker colour because it seems like a brighter colour would make those tiles seem even more blah. Is that green on those tiles? Maybe alternate on the cupboards panelling different dark greens and browns, make it feel like the lighted tile area is a campsite under a forested canopy.
