You never disappoint me Chef Ange. I just noticed these wings are flavored naturally. BTW. I used your Base seasoning today and nearly everyday. Soooo good and such a great timesaver. Thank you.

My wife and I enjoyed the recipe very much. May I suggest a tweak? I love tongs. Growing up in the restaurant business it’s pretty much an indispensable tool. However another chef suggested a few years ago that in some cases the tongs while sufficient may not always be the only utensil for the job . His examples were while cooking with a fryer. How often tongs will squeeze or pull off the breading or batter. And in baking/roasting the same effect especially when something is sticking to foil or grid. For frying he suggested using a S/S Fish turner. And for baking the same or just a fork. Sounds so simple but it was so impactful. When I’m frying fish, chicken etc I never pull off any coatings anymore. I tried both on the wings and it worked equally as well. Just some food for thought. Thanks again for the video. Cheers!

I bought those at Shop Rite too on sale, did not like the quality or flavor of the wing. Try the same recipe with a Bell & Evans wing, much much better.

For low carb….would just baking powder work?
@josedelacruz12706 ай бұрын
Yeah it would, I do that. Almond flour or coconut flour is a good sub too.

I'm wondering if you finished them in the air fryer you would get them as crisp as you want.
@ChefAnge11 ай бұрын
They can only get so crispy before they are over cooked. I seem to get similar results with the convection setting on the oven and the air fryer. The air fryer is just a little faster but maybe yours is better than mine! Give it a shot.

Is it possible to cook them straight from frozen? Like if i just wanted plain wings could i just take them out of the freezer and pop them into the oven?

Yes but the seasoning wouldn’t stick.

1) dont have a conv oven 2) dont have potato starch 3) dont have rice flour ... I do have baking powder :) Chef maybe next time try to make with what most people have in their cabinets.. And try it with an air fryer and one of those setting, my guess the bst one woud be the dehydrate setting since it goes up to 195 on mine the bake/roast only goes down to 325.. But they did look good.

Not my go to either but good to know you can make decent wings from frozen with no notice!

Proof, once again, that a DIAL is far superior to pushing a button enough times to set the right temperature. Always choose an oven (stove) with a dial instead of buttons.
