Leaving it whole and then cutting it in half shows two halves, each ready to scoop out! Better than cutting some of the top, wasting the ends, and having deep pockets to scoop out that might leave too much unused garlic. Thank you! I like the one bulb roasted and then cut in half. Perfecto!

@ChefJackOvens3 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert!! For 1 bulb of garlic, allow 150g of butter to come to room temperature then fold the garlic through. You could also go one step further and whip the garlic and butter together with a whisk, stand mixer or hand mixer for a couple of minutes to make it super aerated and fluffy. 😊😊

Why do you need oil at all if the whole bulb is wrapped in foil, essentially steaming.?
@EvelynBaron Жыл бұрын
caught up a bit late used to slicing off the top oilive oil aliumium foil ususally when roasting something else e.g. sweet potatoes timing of the essence. If I have herbs I add some olive oil yes I usually do as needed didn't know you could freeze this stuff so many thanks. My Dad came from a southern european country this was everywhere .... in our case also tons of raw garlic just share a meal with someone no-one will care :)

Drizzle Olive Oil over each, then smoke a 325 Degrees, I use a mix of Apple and Hickory woods. And I have Requests for this every year.
