A family member of mine like Tiramisu from a local Vietnamese place (texture and flavor), I have tried tons of recipes and no matter what they just say it's different. I tried this one and now finally I have an answer to making them Tiramisu, they LOVED it! Thank you so much Chef, just because something is a shortcut or easier should not stop it from being someones favorite. All your recipes are fantastic that I've made, but the most important is I've advanced so incredibly far as a home cook because your teaching just flows so organically that it's almost effortless to learn and to make delicious food! My mother always talked about Julia Child's changing her life in the kitchen, I will forever tell people Chef Jean-Pierre changed my life in the kitchen. I made this Saturday and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised that this short version worked out so nicely. I made it exactly as the video shows and everybody really enjoyed it. I usually make the long version tiramisu where you temper the eggs and you have to let it soak for at least 48 hours before serving. This is a wonderful alternative if you want to put some thing yummy on the table in a hurry. Thank you for sharing
