Ranveer Brar, a note for you. I have seen umpteen videos by you and other chefs but this one has my heart. It probably doesn’t have a million likes because who wants to eat karela (naives). I do, we do and just like you it’s tied to my grand mother and her karela recipe. This style of cooking and presentation is unreal - beautiful, therapeutic, meditative. It shows why you are such a great chef and an even greater storyteller. And it reminds me why I love food, why I love cooking and sharing. We have these in fridge 24x7. Dadi never made the kada but instead fried the scrapped skin and made simole sabzi out of it. Stirfried with tomato onions green chillies and dry spices. Left over sabzi was stuffed in paranthas 😊. Love karelas. BTW i dont salt them but directly make them. Mom says they don't taste bitter at all.

I loved this video..Maine kal video dekh ke aankhon se hi chakh liya karela,bahaut achcha laga aur main raat bhar iske bare mein sochti bhi rahi.. Isiliye aaj maine apni cooking skills ki sachchai ko bhulate huye ye bnane ki koshish ki 😢. Sabse oehle to smoking hot mustard oil mein jab karele bhune gaye to woh 100 percent cook ho gaye aur patle soggy papad jaise ho gaye.. Secondly, end mein jab unhe dahi ke mixture pe "bichane" ka time aaya to dahi ka mixture fatt gaya aur paneer jaisa ho gaya..Is poore kaand ko karne mein maine apne 3 ghante bhi lagaye..Ab main soch rahi hu ki video dekh ke hi pet bhar lena chahiye tha.
