Hello Chef Rose!! So glad to know that you have a KZbin channel. I remember dining at your small resto in front of USC Boys High back in the early 90s where I studied. It was one of our go to resto during lunch break and late snacks after dismissal. I miss the Cebuano delicacies, especially masi and masareal, after leaving Cebu in the early 2000s. I don't go home to Cebu that often so having this tutorial and recipe of Masi available in your channel will help me make one for myself and not get too homesick. Thank you for this ❤🥰

I have never tried freezing masi. But I think you can. You just need to steam them again to reheat.

Yes. I know that it is easier to put in the filling while the rice dough is not yet cooked BUT this is Cebu Masi version. This is how it is traditionally made here. We cook the rice dough first before filling it. I have another tutorial where I cooked the rice dough first before I filled it. This is the chinese version. You can watch the video in my FB page.
