There are lot more info in the description👀 概要欄にも色々のせてます👀 I'm a real chef, but honestly, I used to eat fast-food for lunch very often.. But since I developed these recipes, I've been keep making them for my health, and end up losing 5kg in 3month!!! Maybe it's because the difference of my current and past eating habit was huge. So if you already have healthy eating habit, you might not get huge change like I did. But I hope this video will help for someone who is similar to past myself!!

I like how you always give us the English and Japanese instructions and information. That way, I can learn Japanese while watching you do your magic. :)

If you are using it for Japanese practice, be careful; the Japanese does not match the English entirely. For example, at 1:56 the English says "you can use water", but the Japanese says "cheap cooking sake is totally OK".

Love these recipes! Just wanted to mention- i didn’t notice your recipes are for 10 cup rice cooker until after. It will not steam enough in my 5 cup rice cooker (thankfully i saved the food by moving the teriyaki to a fry pan to cook everything fully, and manually cooked the rice with a little extra water) But i only noticed after when I checked the video to see the measure marks on your rice cooker. 同じ文を完全に翻訳するの疲れすぎて申し訳ないんですけど、簡単で美味しいレシピ本当にありがとうございます! 今度は10合の炊飯器でやってみます😁

I noticed watching this that what it says in English is not always same in Japanese. For example: In English when it says “corn starch”, it reads “potato starch” in Japanese. I think this is because in US, corn starch is more widely available than potato starch that commonly used in Japan. I can say from experience that these two ingredients has same role in cooking making sauce thicker, no big taste difference. So use whatever is available in your area

I saw that bit on "4 for males, 5 for females," and I immediately thought that I could eat all of that in one sitting.... maybe I really do need to work on my portion control 😅
@thebluengi4738Ай бұрын
The portions in the video are normal portions, some people just think women should eat less, but it's actually very individual! For all genders, it depends on body mass and how much exercise you do :]
@feralkat9370Ай бұрын
Lol For me that's way too much. I'm ok with the protein and veg portions but I'd cut the rice to a quarter of that and still feel bloated. Increase your veggies and reduce your carbs.
@MollyHJohnsАй бұрын
As a SE Asian I'm fine with the heavier rice portions but I'd love 1:1 rice:other, and the other is also 1:1 meat:veggie. We need all the energies/calories where we live, near the equator. No excuse for cutting down the carb!
@user-ee4vn2rs4mАй бұрын
Nah. This guy is repeating what much of society thinks about portions, but most people (including medical personnel) do not have an accurate sense of how much one human needs compared to another. It’s just inherited inaccuracy, particularly between gender and culture. Everything in moderation, including recipes. And moderation.
@jwg081421 күн бұрын
@user-ee4vn2rs4m you are thinking it too much... I think its just base on how much an average ppl eat... Not in counting macros. Which btw, if you count macros as you mentioned, men need more calories cuz on average, we tend to be larger. So the portions might be correct as well. And Im talking about averages... Theres everything everywhere.

If I like a specific sauce is it okay to make it in advance and bottle it for long-term use? Or do you recommend making it fresh every time?
@CHEFSLABO15 күн бұрын
It depends on what sauce and how long you plan to store it. The Teriyaki sauce in this video can last around 10days in a fridge. But it's because this sauce has sugar content. If you plan to make Sugarless (Or very little amount) sauces, they tend to not last long. Hope it helps!!😃

こんにちは、シェフさん! So I've been attempting to try making takikomi-gohan for years but simply didn't have the time, then I stumble upon this in the middle of the night (at the time of this writing) and I really want to try making one for real soon. Few questions though, seems like considering the ingredients are cooked "separately" from the rice via parchment paper, I wonder if removing the paper counts as "takikomi-gohan"? Or do I have to do some extra steps on the meat & veggies before putting them with the rice? Also is plain water simply okay for it or do I have to cook something like flavoured soup as the "cooking water"? The reason why I'm asking those is that while I'm not really working, most of the time I just don't have the motivation & energy to even enter the kitchen, let alone spending an hour or two cooking something while waiting for the rice to cook. And I feel like I don't use my rice cooker to its potential enough beyond just "cook rice". I want to eat something healty and want to rotate my meals, but I just don't want to spend too much time in the kitchen.

What would be the setting for instapot? I usually use high pressure for 5 min for white rice. Actually total of 15 min including heating up... cooking.... keep warm. Never thought about adding all that while i cook rice.
@CHEFSLABO22 күн бұрын
I don't have instant pot, so I'm afraid that I cannot specify what's the best setting for it😅 But If it has "Cooking rice" setting or you have your own setting to cook rice, it should work with these recipes🤔 Just keep warm for at least 10-20 mins before open the lid if you worry about undercooking👍

May I ask what would happen if we don't cool before assembly? I thought the heat would kill off everything and make it safe.
@CHEFSLABO22 күн бұрын
If you close the lid while hot and put it in the fridge straight away, you will probably see water dripping from the lid by the steam from the food. That makes their life shorter, and possibly the reason to create mold if you carry in summer or humid situation🤔 Usually it shouldn't be such big troubles. But depends on where you live or how you store the foods, I cannot guarantee. So you know, I just tried to play safe for both you guys and myself😅
