Will try a simpler version. But why does it look so wet though? Is that normal?
@CHEFSLABOКүн бұрын
Cuz I spent too much time on touching and filling with it💦 But it’s quite similar to normal Fried rice if you cook without filming like me 😌 But you know, the point of this recipe isn’t making a proper fried rice. I want to offer a recipe that make your life a bit easier. Hope it will do it for you 😌

Doesn't that cooking of garlic turn it bitter?
@CHEFSLABOКүн бұрын
If you overcook it, it will be bitter. But it adds so much flavour if it’s cooked properly. So my recommendation is just to stop cooking before the garlic become completely brown (as shown in the video) 😃

Can I use this recipe with any type of rice cooker or does it have to be the same type as the one in this video? My rice cooker is the kind that just has the single button at the front that just says cook and warm.

That should be fine. No worries 👍

Thanks! Living in a studio apartment with no kitchen. These rice cooker recipes are very helpful. Question. I'm using old Aroma rice cooker model with glass lid, are they good for this recipes or should I get a better one?
@CHEFSLABO2 күн бұрын
Thanks for the support!! I think any rice cooker can make this recipe😃 So don’t stress. Of course high spec models probably give you better result, but you don’t have to invest better stuff just for this recipe😃 So have a try, and see if you can be satisfied or not with yours 😄👍

can i use red onion?
@CHEFSLABOКүн бұрын
I don’t recommend it. Generally speaking, Red onion don’t go well with Japanese food. So I suggest to use brown ones 😃

Thank you Chef, I love your recipes and this one makes me want it so much. 2 questions however: how to replace garlic and ginger sauces (perishable in just 4 weeks) powder perhaps or a garlic + ginger preparation in the pan? 2nd question: is it necessary to prepare the eggs 40 minutes before incorporating them?
@CHEFSLABO4 күн бұрын
Aucun problème. J'irai droit au but !! I'll get straight to the point!! Q1: You can freeze tubed garlic and ginger to keep them longer. Or simply grate the fresh ones finely. Powders are not recommended as they are designed to suit Western dishes. Q2: You don't have to prepare the egg in advance. No stress👍 I hope this answer helps you!! Let me know if you have any other questions!! This will help other viewers too!! So don't be shy😉

@joumanadubois9564 күн бұрын
