Thanks Chef. I now realize where I was going wrong, I didn't knead enough. I have always used cold water. On a few occasions I tried warm water and the dough was too sticky. When I tried rolling the chapati, the shape went haywire - map of Africa, Australia, Kenya ....😅😅

You can also knead the flour in a mixer. It’s much easier that way.👍. Also, instead of oil in the frying part, I would go with either butter or ghee… mmmmmm ❤️😋😋😋

Next time you do this make dhalpuri.. out of the same recipe Your recipe is just like how my mom n I make it, but we used moderate heat.. so it’s a perfect color n texture
